Several publications, which were sent for testing the Xbox Series X, released videos of the upcoming novelty Dirt 5 - the first game for the next gene, which was allowed to be shown on the new consoles of Microsoft. Until now, performance and additional improvements (Auto-HDR, Dolby Atmos, Quick Resume) have been demonstrated only on already released games.
The racing game Dirt 5 (coming November 6) will have three graphics modes:
- Native 4K (quality mode)
- Dynamic 4K @ 60FPS
- Dynamic resolution and 120 FPS
The video shows all three modes. It is worth noting that in 4K quality mode, frame drops are observed, in particular on snowy slopes and during rain. The publications claim that the game runs at 60 FPS most of the time.
In the dynamic 4K mode (about 1800r), frame drops were not observed. In performance mode (120 FPS), the game runs at around 1440p and also holds 120 frames most of the time.
