How to teleport in Minecraft?

Why waste time on every piece of the world when you can be in the right place at any time? We'll show you how to teleport to Minecraft!

The popular Minecraft game offers the ability to teleport characters to any location on the map, but you've have discover & visit that location first. This is good news. But it looks a little different on each platform, so if you play on all platforms you need to learn all three ways. Why three? Because on PC, consoles, and mobile, everything looks different. Therefore, the guide is divided into three sections - each dedicated to a different platform.

Minecraft for PC: how to teleport?

  • If you want to return to this location while playing, open the console by pressing  /
  • Enter the  name  of the teleportation team  xyz  , replacing the  name with the  name of the character; instead of a name, you can enter  @p  , x - east / west, y - vertical position, z - north / south; they correspond to previously displayed coordinates
  • The command should look like this:  teleport @p 153 66 684  - you do not need to write full coordinates, for example, 138.088 66.00 684.212
  • Interestingly, you can teleport another player in the game - To do so enter instead of your character's name or @p, enter his name.

Minecraft for consoles: how to teleport?

Before we explain  how to teleport to Minecraft  on the console, there are some limitations: teleportation will only work if you are the master of the multiplayer world and you can only teleport to another player's location. • Start Minecraft
  • Select the Play Game and the world you want to download, but don't download it yet
  • Go to game settings and select host privileges
  • Select to download the game and click OK in the warning about missing achievements and updating the rating when playing with permissions.
  • When the world is loaded, press the option button on the controller to enter the settings menu
  • Select Host Options and then Teleport to Player.
  • A list of all players currently in this world will be displayed
  • Select the player you want to teleport to and confirm your choice.

Minecraft Mobile: how to teleport?

While the lack of a physical keyboard on mobile devices can make it difficult to enter coordinates, there is no other way.

  • Open  Minecraft  and load the world you want to play
  • After loading the world, pause by clicking the icon in the upper right corner (click, even if not visible, it will work)
  • Go to settings and enable cheats
  • Close the menu and return to the game
  • Click on the chat icon at the top of the screen
  • To get the coordinates of a place, tap your finger in the text input field and enter  / tp name ~ ~ ~ , where of course you replace “name” with the name of the target character.
  • Save coordinates
  • Further, as in the PC version - when you want to teleport to the selected location, call  the input text field again  and enter  / tp name XYZ , replacing the name with the character name, and XYZ with coordinates
  • Press enter - done, the character will be in the given place
