ResetEra forum users have noticed a backward compatibility note posted on the Ubisoft website. It follows from it that the PlayStation 5 will not be able to run several games of the publisher.
Basically, the Assassin's Creed series fell under the distribution: on PS5, backward compatibility does not work with the Syndicate and the Chronicle trilogy . On the Xbox Series, the company says there are no such issues.
