All exotic weapons and armor in the DLC | Destiny 2: Beyond Light

With the expansion "Beyond Light" there are also some new exotic weapons and exotic armor for titans, hunters and warlocks. We would like to introduce you to all the exotics of the add-on and link our guides at the appropriate point so that you can get the special weapons and armor directly.

Exotic weapons and armor in Beyond Light

The season of the hunt begins with Destiny 2: Beyond Light . In the course of the expansion there will be three more seasons and with them new exotic weapons and armor. There are a total of six new exo-weapons (with the exception of “Falkenmond” because the handgun does not yet exist) and six new exo-armor - two for each class. Below we show you all the exotic items from "Beyond Light" ( as of November 25, 2020 ).

Important: You can only get most of these Exotics if you have the “Beyond Light” expansion.

Duality (shotgun / energy weapon)

Activation: Reach level 1 in the "Season of the Hunt" with a paid Season Pass or level 35 in the free Season Pass.

The duality could actually be seen as a cross between shotgun and sniper rifle . When shooting from the hip, you have to get very close to enemies in order to mow them down with scatter balls, while when aiming you shoot a single ball with high damaging effect, which also hits at longer distances. Repeated killing blows with duality increases reload speed and precision damage.

No time for explain (pulse rifle / kinetic weapon)

Activation: If you want to get “No time for explain” , you have to complete the “Beyond Light” campaign.

The fully automatic pulse rifle "No time for explanations" is particularly strong in connection with the new stasis. If you score headshots or shots at opponents who are influenced by stasis, bullets go back into the magazine. You also get a buff on precision death strikes that makes a glowing ball appear next to the weapon. This also shoots at opponents and causes additional damage.

Salvation's Grip (Grenade Launcher / Power Weapon)

Activation: If you want to get "Salvation's Grip" , you have to complete the quest "The Stasis Prototype" from the vagabond. We explain all the steps in the linked guide.

Among the exotic weapons, the "grip of salvation" is the first item to use the stasis element. You can freeze enemies by hitting them with projectiles. The grenade launcher also introduces a new game mechanic. If you hold down the aim button, you will see a target marker on the floor that shows exactly where the stasis crystals are created.

The Lament (sword / power weapon)

Activation: If you want to get "The Lament" , you have to complete the quest "Lost Lament" , which has been available since November 22, 2020.

"Die Klage" is already one of the best weapons among gamers and thus replaces the falling guillotine as the most powerful sword. If you intensify the blade, you increase the damage and bypass the shields of powerful enemies. You will also be healed if you deal damage with the intensified blade. This combination makes “Die Klage” incredibly strong.

Cloud Strike (Sniper Rifle / Energy Weapon)

Activation: If you want to get the "Cloud Strike" , you have to complete a number of different quests and then hope for a random drop from nightmare hunts. Follow the link to read all the important information.

Similar to the exotic machine gun "Thunder Lord", the sniper rifle "Cloud Strike" lets out fatal lightning bolts on enemies. The special perk "Deadly Polarity" ensures that precision killing blows cause lightning at the target's position. Enemies or Guardians in PvP who are three to four meters away will not survive this.

Eyes of tomorrow (rocket launcher / power weapon)

Activation: Random drop from the final boss of the new raid "Tiefsteinkrypta".

Destiny 1 players will remember the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher, which has long been considered the best weapon in the game. Among the exotic weapons in the new DLC, "Eyes of Tomorrow" is now considered one of the best. The perk “Everything in view” allows you to aim at several targets at the same time.

Do you want to level something else? With a simple method you can maximize your power level in a few hours up to the soft cap:

Cloud Strike (Sniper Rifle / Energy Weapon)

Precious scars (titanium helmet)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

The special perk "Kintsugi" (Japanese for gold connection) grants you and fellow players in the vicinity a shield when you revive your allies or you are brought back from the dead. This is especially effective in PvE activities.

Ice avalanche overcoat (titanium gauntlets)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

The icy ice avalanche overcoat gauntlets replace your titan's barricade. The armor is reinforced and can absorb an additional amount of damage. During this reinforcement, however, you are a little slower and the use of the barricade is delayed.

Bakris mask (hunter's helmet)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

The Bakris Mask replaces the Stasis Focus dodging ability with a quick dive. In the meantime you are partially covered and for a short time you will receive a damage buff for arc weapons. A good combination with the exotic sniper rifle "Cloud Strike".

Athrys' Embrace (Hunter Gauntlets)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

If you achieve quick headshots with weapons, you increase the damage bonus of "Balanced knife". You can also rock unprotected fighters and get a second ricochet for your melee ability with Athrys' Embrace.

Twilight Concert (Warlock Helmet)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

The exotic "Twilight Concert" helmet harmonizes perfectly with the solar capabilities of your Warlock. Discarded Dawn projectiles set enemies on fire and grant you melee energy due to the "Grasp of Doom" perk. In general, fire effects last longer.

Necrotic Grip (Warlock Gauntlets)

Unlocked : Random drop from Lost Grand Master Sectors or Legendary Lost Sectors. However, you have to do this solo.

The special perk "Grasp of Doom" improves your melee ability. You skin enemies, you corrupt them - the damage suffered increases continuously. If you defeat a corrupted enemy, the effect jumps to targets in the vicinity. You also regenerate melee energy.

As mentioned above, the exotic handgun "Falkenmond" is missing from the list. This weapon isn't currently in the game, but we'll update the text as soon as you can get hold of this exo.
