Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - How to Change Mount

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

When players first begin their journey in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, they will have a default horse with a fairly standard saddle. While this vehicle is more than capable of navigating the large Valhalla map, players won't be accused of wanting to revive and change vehicles a bit.

For the most part, mounts are purely cosmetic in nature, since all mounts available in the game have the same stamina, speed and other capabilities. Regardless of how much research players will undertake in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, it makes sense to do it in style using a fancy horse or other type of mount.

Initially, the default horse will be the only one available to players, but other vehicles can be purchased. Additionally, those players who received the Ultimate edition of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will also start with a giant riding wolf. Again, although it looks fierce, it will perform identically even to a standard horse.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - How to Change Mount

To change mounts, players must first get to England. It's not that far in the story and can be achieved in about two hours of gameplay, but that number could be much higher depending on how distracted players explore. Once there, players will need to build stables in order to access their inventory of their mounts, or they can find a stable in an already established town in England. Performing any of these actions will allow the player to buy new mounts or switch between existing ones.

Changing mounts is as easy as finding the NPC Stable Manager and choosing the mount the player wants in the Owned section. However, in order to unlock new mounts, players will need to spend some of their hard-earned Silver. Some other mounts cost real money, with the aforementioned wolf animal costing around $ 8 for those players who didn't get the Ultimate edition. After buying a mount, it remains with the player throughout the game, and can be switched between them. Since players need to find a stable for this, changing the gender of Eyvor is easier than changing his mount.
