Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - How to Change Arrows

In most RPGs, players can get different types of arrows to use with their bow, from fire arrows to explosive arrows, and in some fantasy games even elemental arrows. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla handles this a little differently, so players will be forgiven for not understanding how to switch arrows.

While in most games the arrow fired from a bow determines the effect, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla focuses on what type of bow the player is using. Unlike Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, where players can get different types of arrows, there is only one collectible type of arrows in Valhalla.

Instead, players can use one of three different types of bows that work in different ways. At the time of this writing, the following options are available to players: hunting bows, predatory bows, and light bows. Players will start out with a hunting bow, but other types can be found or purchased throughout the game.

As a starting bow, the hunting bow is predictably the weakest of the three. His performance is standard and players will certainly be able to deal some damage to them, but he doesn't do well on any particular target. In contrast, the light bow is more suitable for close combat and can shoot arrows much faster than the other two types of bows. Finally, the Predator Bow is an Assassin's Creed: Valhalla sniper rifle that shoots arrows at insane distances and deals heavy damage every shot. Using the right bow in the right situation can be the key to victory.

For those interested in fire arrows and the like, they still exist in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, although not in the same capacity as Odyssey. This time, players will need to keep a close eye on their surroundings, as open fire in the area can be used to ignite arrows. This works especially well with the Predator bow, as it makes every shot that much more lethal. For Poison Arrows, players will need to unlock the Poison Ranged Strike ability, which allows them to apply poison to arrows.

This approach to arrow types can take some getting used to, especially for those players who have just started archery in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, but it should become second nature over time. Basically, switching arrow types is as easy as switching bows or changing the gender of Avor, but players wishing to apply additional effects will need to use skills or their environment to do so.
