Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - How to Defeat Fenrir

To help you defeat Fenrir, we've outlined the boss moves and strategies you can use against him in this dedicated guide.

Fenrir is the final boss you'll face at the end of the main story mission called Binding Fate in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. This boss fight will take place in Asgard and can be quite challenging.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla "Boss Fenrir"

At the end of the mission that binds fate, you will find yourself in Asgard, and Fenrir will appear and immediately attack you.

He will start attacking, moving underground (like a lost Wolf) and attacking you below. Don't forget to run away when he comes to you from the ground.

Whenever Fenrir is not underground, this is a window for you to attack and start chipping away at his health.

When Fenrir crawls out of the ground, he will be completely vulnerable, so start attacking now.

Make sure you use both melee and ranged weapons. Fenrir has fast movement and will dodge your close-range attacks very quickly, so you'll need to use your ranged weapon when it leaves.

Use Nornir's Focus ability, if you have one, when using your bow to make sure your shots land easily.

As soon as ¼ of Fenrir's health falls, he will go underground again and attack you.

This time, when he gets out of the ground, he will try to grab you with his mouth. Make sure you keep moving and stay away.

Repeat the attack and dodge process again. Once one-third of his health is gone, you will see a 'bind' prompt to grab the lasso around his neck and wrap it around his waist.

But now Fenrir is using a new move. Fenrir will run in circles to create a tornado; make sure you stay at a distance.

Repeat the entire fight process until his health drops by half.

He will then grab a wooden log and start circling and smashing it, keeping his distance and using the bow as hard as you can to keep the chips on his health bar.

This process of creating a tornado, twisting and throwing logs and going underground will continue until his health has dropped by about two-thirds.

Then you can tie an extra lasso around his waist.

After that, he will climb the hill and start throwing stones at you, so be sure to dodge.

Also, the process and attacks will remain the same, so just keep repeating the process and keep attacking.

After all, when Fenrir's health is near zero, you can tie his lasso and that will be it.

Here's how you can defeat Fenrir's fate-binding final boss in AC: Valhalla.
