Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Battle Royale will remain on its engine

In anticipation of the imminent release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War , the next part of the famous series, there have been suggestions among the community that the creators intend to transfer “Warzone” to the engine of the upcoming novelty.

However, all this turned out to be only rumors, since one of the developers left a comment in the corresponding discussion on the ResetEra portal, where he gave an official answer - no such changes are planned. Thus, the technical component of the multiplayer mode will remain similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare , of which it is a part. If we talk about the integration of the upcoming shooter with Battle Royale, then this event is scheduled for December and coincides with the start of the first season of the Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released November 13 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
