Galactus threatens Fortnight's existence next month

Fortnite has hosted several Marvel-focused events so far, including Avengers, Deadpool, and Wolverine challenges, but things are getting a little more intense and the stakes are getting higher in the latter event. Fortnite: Nexus War will end on December 1, and players will have to defeat Galactus or risk destroying the universe itself.

The fight against Galactus kicks off on December 1 at 1pm ET, and is a one-time event. Epic Games recommends that you log into Fortnite about an hour before the scheduled start time, and the playlist will appear approximately 30 minutes before the event starts. You will need to download Update 14.60 in order to play, and as the lawsuit between Apple and Epic Games continues, iOS players remain on the sidelines. It is possible that there may be a workaround along the way through the Safari iOS web browser, which some other companies are doing instead of supporting specialized applications.

Just a few days ago, Fortnite also brought video chat to the game via the Houseparty app. It is available for PC, PS5, and PS4 versions of the game, and you need to have either an iOS or Android phone with the app installed. If you link your accounts, you will also get a special rainbow fog film.
