Halo: The Master Chief Collection For Xbox Series X / S May Get RTX Support

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Microsoft and 343 Industries have shared new information regarding the non-genetic version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

As announced in October, the collection will arrive on the brand new Xbox Series X / S on November 17th. The fan can expect various graphical improvements. In particular, collection games may receive ray tracing support in the future. This was hinted at by senior producer Matt Hohl in a blog post on Halo Waypoint.

"Personally, I can't wait to see what we can do with the power of the new consoles in the future," Hohl said.

The complexity and scale of the MCC creates certain problems that have not yet been fully explored, but I certainly like the new possibilities that the new hardware offers - we will be able to implement new features and improvements in the future.

One thing I can say for sure: our team listens to the community and takes into account the wishes of the players in the long-term planning. I love it and can't wait to see what results we can achieve in the future! "
