How to open the well during the Journey to Asgard quest in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Solving the puzzle with rays and mirrors

In Assassin's Creed: Valhalla you must open the well during the Journey to Asgard quest. This guide shows you how to solve the ray puzzle.

The goal of the task is to solve the puzzle with rays by directing them around the room. You should use the mirrors in the center of the area where the green fog is covering the well.

Step 1: interact with the sphere from which the laser is shining.

Step 2: direct this beam at a mirror on the ceiling across the room. This mirror will split the laser into 2 beams.

Step 3: go down to the entrance to the well, there is a movable object with a luminous sphere on it. Move it until it lines up as shown in the picture below. It should be on the side of the mirror plate (where the red arrow points in the second screenshot below).

Step 4: climb to the beams at the entrance where you came from. Aim one laser shown in the image below at the ball you just moved at the bottom. It must reflect the beam so that it hits the mirror. Make sure it looks like the screenshots below.

Step 5: connect another laser to the last ball at the back of the room. You should get a zigzag.

Step 6: Use the laser at the back of the room and aim it at the second specular object at the entrance to the well.

When you aim the lasers at both mirrors at the entrance to the well, the green fog will disappear and you can continue the quest. After the cutscene, you must dive to the bottom of the well to get out of the cave.
