Miles Morales has a total of 10 sound samples to collect throughout New York City.

Each district has 1, and the very first is related to the main story, so you can't miss it.

Collecting 9 out of 10 sample sounds unlocks the Deep Cuts Trophy.

It is necessary to scan all sound samples from a fixed distance. We'll point out exactly where you need to stand in order to successfully scan each of the sound samples.

Sound Sample # 1: History

This first one is related to the main story, so you cannot miss it. Samples of sounds appear quite late in the game, and scanning the first one reveals all the others.

All you have to do is scan the red buoy in the water on the right. This will mark all other sound samples on the map.

Sound Sample # 2: Harlem

In Harlem, go to the basketball court and sit on the fence that overlooks the court as well as the train station.

Now scan the station from this place.

Sound Sample # 3: Upper East Side

Get to the search area and look for a water tower that has some icicles underneath. Scan them to collect this sound sample.

Sound Sample # 4: Central Park

Travel to Central Park and inspect the pigeons. You will have to turn on disguise to get closer to them, otherwise they will fly away. If they fly away, just exit the park and turn around, then come back for another try.

Sound Sample # 5: Upper West Side

Go to the fire station and scan the fire truck that is parked inside to collect this sound sample.

Sound Sample # 6: Midtown

You must scan the antenna from the side to collect this sound sample.

Sound Sample # 7: Greenwich

You must scan the clock tower exactly where the clock will be in order to successfully collect this sound sample.

Sound Sample # 8: Chinatown

Reach the Chinese gate and scan the wind chimes to collect this sound sample.

Sound Sample # 9: Financial District

You must steam scan from the right side to collect this sound sample. You should have unlocked the Deep Cuts trophy at this point.

Sound Sample # 10: Back to the Beginning (Side Mission)

A new side mission will open in Harlem as soon as you collect 9 of the 10 sound samples.

This is a very short and easy mission. Just head to the mission site, go to the hideout and open the locker to get the Purple Reign Suit.
