Cyberpunk 2077 - Patch 1.06 is here

Developers from the Polish studio CD Projekt RED reported the release of update 1.06 for Cyberpunk 2077 . Despite the small list of changes, this patch weighs as much as 16.8 GB on PS4, on Steam - just under 1 GB. The patch fixes a save corruption bug that was recently discovered by players. This issue resulted in permanent damage to any save file larger than 8 MB. However, already corrupted saves cannot be fixed. In addition, this patch addresses a specific quest issue and improves stability for console players, so PS4 and Xbox owners should see fewer crashes after installing this update.

  • Quests

Doom Doom will no longer disappear at the entrance to Totentance during the New Turning quest.

  • For consoles

Improved memory management and stability resulting in fewer crashes.

  • For pc
The 8 MB save file size limit has been removed. The patch will not fix save files corrupted prior to the update.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. The next generation version of the game is currently in development for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.
