Cyberpunk 2077 Released Update 1.05 Improving Stability and Performance on AMD Processors

Developers from the Polish studio CD Projekt RED have announced the release of a new update for Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.05 for Xbox One and PS4 consoles . This update will be available on PC at a later date .

The update introduces more quest fixes, improved reaction times for hiding NPCs, fixed the number of shots required to kill civilians at a distance in combat, fixed some UI overlap issues, and made numerous stability improvements, including crash fixes.

Among other things, the developers removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file from the PC version. which, they said, was not associated with or influenced by the final version of the game - it was a leftover file that was used during development to estimate memory usage. Also removed the use of the AVX instruction set, which eliminates crashes at the end of the Prolog on non-AVX processors. Added core / thread optimization for AMD 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen processors.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It can also be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X thanks to backward compatibility.
