GENSHIN IMPACT: GUIDE TO THE PERFECT SUCROSE

A character who has accompanied us since the release date of Genshin Impact but who takes on a new relevance with the latest events of the plot and the arrival of the snowy region of Dragonspine. She is a shy alchemist who can generate powerful, unstable elemental reactions, damaging opponents on the battlefield and allowing her allies to inflict disproportionate amounts of damage when she supports them.

Sucrose is therefore a character who excels at aoe damage and grouping enemies. In particular, his elemental skill and elemental burst have a vast utility and punish all enemies caught inside them. This makes her a very useful character in timed challenges. Someone who excels at time trials and abyss is usually a fantastic unit overall. She is no exception: if you find it in this banner, do not hesitate to enhance it because you will not regret it.

GENSHIN IMPACT: GUIDE TO THE PERFECT SUCROSE

A JUMPING PROBLEM

The swirl reaction deals damage based on the element it combines with the slimes are unable to take damage from their element, making them partially immune to our bio-alchemist's style of play. This will make it much more difficult to inflict any type of damage on them. For her it is better to stay completely out of the battles against this category of enemies, very present in Genshin Impact but relatively weak and easy to deal with. This is obviously just a curiosity, don't really get into these problems. The only time this nation is really relevant is perhaps only the ninth floor of the abyss.

A JUMPING PROBLEM

TALENTS

WIND SPIRIT CREATION

Normal Attack : Perform up to 4 consecutive hits using Wind Spirits to deal damage to enemies. Deals anemo damage.

Charged Attack : Consumes a certain amount of stamina and deals  anemo damage in a small area of effect after a short casting time.

Leap Attack : Appealing to the power of his wind spirits, Sucrose crashes to the ground from midair, damaging all enemies in his path. Ground impact inflicts heavy anemo area damage.

The hits dealt by this talent are slow and have a very low scaling making it really unsuitable for the role of primary dps. However, these hits are really cool thanks to the elemental damage type. Sucrose uses a catalyst as a weapon, which means that all of his attacks deal anemo damage. This allows her to constantly trigger swirl reactions when paired with other teammates. Extremely relevant in combination with the other talents that we will see later.

TALENTS

ASTABLE ANEMOHYPOSTASIS CREATION - 6308 (ELEMENTAL SKILL)

Create a small wind spirit that deals anemo damage to enemies in a small AoE, dragging them to the spirit location.
The elemental skill is really simple but very peculiar. A lot of fun managing the cooldown as the skill has two usage stacks. It is up to the player to understand how to best manage the times, maximizing the number of reactions and damage generated.

ASTABLE ANEMOHYPOSTASIS CREATION - 6308 (ELEMENTAL SKILL)

FORBIDDEN CREATION - ISOMER 75 / TYPE II (ELEMENTAL BURST)

Sucrose launches an unstable blend that creates a great wind spirit. As long as it persists, the creature will continually attract and throw nearby enemies into the air, dealing anemo damage in an area.

ELEMENTAL ABSORPTION

If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro / Pyro / Cryo / Electro elements , it will cause additional damage of that element. Elemental absorption can only occur once per use. One of the most beautiful and impressive abilities of Genshin Impact in terms of aesthetics, a huge anemo butterfly will drag enemies with the air currents of its wings, developing frightening elemental reactions and taking the color (and damage) of the corresponding item. In short, a giant and more powerful version of the elemental skill , nothing extremely complex but the best is yet to come.

PASSIVE TALENTS

CATALYST CONVERSION - MOLLIS FAVONIUS

These two passive talents are perhaps more relevant, when it comes to optimal build and scaling  than the active talents were as they best represent this character's potential and are often the reason why she is preferred over other playable heroes. In short, the real fulcrum of the functioning of Sucrose .

When Sucrose activates a swirl, all characters in the party with the element corresponding to the damage dealt have their elemental mastery increased by 50 for 8 seconds.
When Astable Anemohypostatis Creation - 6308 or Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II hit an enemy, increases the ' elemental mastery of all other members of the group by an amount equal to 20% of' elemental mastery of Sucrosefor 8 seconds. It is therefore easy to guess what statistic you have to look for on such a character when looking for artifacts. If the reactions are your best friends and the parties based on elemental synergies your favorites, you absolutely cannot ignore Sucrose . Probably the best reaction focused support in the whole game.

WEAPONS

Sacrificial Fragment

After damaging an opponent with an elemental ability, the ability has a 40/50/60/70/80% chance to run out ofits DC. It can only occur once every 30/26/22/18/14 seconds. Best weapon ever for the character, Sucrose perfectly exploits the passive ability and all the statistics having in fact a perfect synergy with the tome that almost seems to have been sewn on her. Sea Map , Lost Prayer to the Sacred Wind, and Skyward Atlas  are all great replacements in case you haven't been lucky enough to find the Sacrificial Fragment in the gacha. Sea Mapin particular it is very easy to find as it can be crafted by a blacksmith.

WEAPONS

Viridiscent Venerer

  • Anemo damage bonus + 15%
  • Swirld damage increased by 60%. Reduces opponent's elemental resistance to element infused in swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.

Viriscent (2) Wanderer Troupe (2)

Version perhaps less performing at an absolute level but incredibly valid if your aim is only to enhance your elemental mastery as much as possible and consequently that of your party mates . Very fun setting.

  • Anemo damage bonus + 15%
  • Increase your elemental mastery by 80.
Both sets are really powerful in support because they offer a huge impact even when on the pitch for a very short time.
