How do I change the difficulty level in Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to select the difficulty level you want, which affects the difficulty of the adventure. There are several options, so everyone will find the most suitable option for themselves.

You select the difficulty level first when you first start the game, but you can easily change it later. To do this, during the game (i.e. after loading the save) turn on the pause menu and select Settings. There you will find the Difficulty of the game.

You can choose from four levels:

  • Low .
  • Average .
  • High .
  • Highest .

Note: in addition, you can also set parameters related to the difficulty of aiming.

The game doesn't tell you what the difficulty level change affects, but you can guess that it changes the damage done and taken by V, the main character. However, it's safe to say that difficulty doesn't affect exploration, only combat.

Remember there is no scaling of enemy levels in the game. This means that their strength does not depend on the player's progress, and you can meet opponents who are simply too strong for the hero - even after the difficulty level is reduced.
