Looks like Xbox One private keys and Xbox OG emulator source code leaked

According to Twitter account PokeProtos, which previously released information about the leaks of Capcom, Nintendo and Crytek, the private keys of the Xbox One and the source code of the internal OG Xbox emulator that runs on the Xbox One were leaked. It should not be confused with the official emulator for OG Xbox, rather, this source code is for the Xbox One downloader to run OG Xbox games.

If the private keys are indeed leaked, then in theory this allows a developer to sign any code using them and run on the Xbox One without the need for developer mode. In other words, if this leak is confirmed in the coming days, it is theoretically equivalent to hacking the console and being able to run any unsigned, homemade code on it.

The latest generation of consoles has been one of the safest when it comes to the security of home consoles, and especially the Xbox One. One of the reasons for this was that Microsoft had already removed any incentives to compromise the console by offering developer mode on all consoles. This allowed developers to run any homebrew product on the console itself and required a minimum fee of $ 20 to register a developer account.
