Pokémon GO: Guide for Community Day in December 2020

The big Community Day event in December at Pokémon GO lasts 2 days and runs on December 12th and 13th. We'll show you all the Shinys, bonuses, tips, times, attacks and what you need to know about the event.

What is a Community Day? An event of this type runs once a month at Pokémon GO. Usually, only one Pokémon species is in the foreground. But in December 2020, the developers will turn it into an even bigger project.

During the two-day event, all Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild and in raids that were found on Community Days in 2019 and 2020. So if you missed some, you can catch up now.

Tips for Community Day in December 2020

How to make the most of the event: Collect lots of Poké Balls before it starts. Open gifts from friends and spin PokéStops if possible. But remember to comply with the security rules for the Corona crisis.

You should plan at least 300 balls for an event day if you want to play a lot.

Use these aids while playing: If you want to catch Pokémon quickly, you should use the catch trick. This means you skip the catch animations and are many times faster.

If you want to replenish your stardust supply, you should also ignite pieces of stars at the event. They increase the already doubled stardust when caught again.

How are you going to use Community Day in Pokémon GO this time? Are you looking for specific Shinys or rare attacks?
