Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5) patch 1.007 patch notes

Insomniac Games has stealthily dropped a new update for Spider-Man: Miles Morales , which brings an exciting new option to the PS5 version. Update 1.007.001 weighs just over 260MB and comes shortly after update 1.06 / 1.006 to add an unexpected but very welcome feature.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales can now be enjoyed at 60 fps with ray tracing enabled. Previously, ray tracing was exclusively associated with Fidelity mode, which operated at 30 fps at 4K. The added option, seen above, reads as follows: This is an alternate version of 'Performance' mode at 60 frames per second, adding ray tracing by adjusting scene resolution, quality reflection and pedestrian density.

The resolution associated with this enhanced performance mode is currently unknown. However, some reports claim that the standard performance mode was around 1080p. This would likely place Performance RT somewhere below that resolution. The beauty of ray tracing comes at a price.
