The author of the HD Reworked Project mod for The Witcher 3 is creating its next-gen version

 The popular HD Reworked Project mod from modder Halk Hogan for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt updates the original textures to higher quality textures and adds improved models in most areas of the game. Now, the modder is taking his HD Reworked Project (HDRP) to the next level with the announcement of The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen , which will offer gamers improved models and textures for many areas of the game.

In the preview video, Halk Hogan showcases many of his next-gen enhancements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including reworked models and textures for food, markets, and animals.

In a post in his latest video, the modder stated that he is " awaiting a response from CDPR regarding possible collaboration (or whatever) " for the next generation of The Witcher 3 updates for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. Thanks to such a partnership, improved textures and models available to PC players may become official for players on next generation systems.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen will be released sometime in early to mid 2021.
