Warframe: Operation Orphix Vemon Guide

Warframe: Operation Orphix Vemon Guide

Operation Orphix Vemon in Warframe has begun , so it's time to kill some of the Sentients using your mute Necramech as nails  .

Digital Extremes  warned us that we would need to invest in the Necramech system, and with Operation: Orphix Venom who modified their own Necramech will be rewarded if they heed this warning.

The Orphix are sentient serpents who have come up with a way to cut off the Tenno's connection to their Warframe . Yes, that sounds pretty bad, but the good news is that the Necramechs bypass this disabling field, allowing you to destroy Orphix with your fearsome skull-mech.

To fully complete Operation Orphix, you will need your own Necramech. You can do without one of the rented nonkramechs that are scattered around the ground, but to complete the higher difficulty levels, you will need an appropriately fancy Necramech with all the necessary mods.

Let's take a look at the finer points of Operation: Orphix Venom before we discuss which Necramech is right for the job.

How to start Operation: Orphix venom

How to start Operation: Orphix venom

You will need to complete The War Within and Heart of Deimos quests in order to gain access to Orphix Venom, so do it now. After that, you just need to click the Operation: Orphix Venom icon in your lander to start the mission.

The operation is divided into three levels: normal, then advanced, and finally endurance. On Normal difficulty, you can probably do without your own Necramech, as there are many Void Necramechs scattered around the map that you can navigate to at your leisure. Note that these are completely unmodified Necramechs, so their strength wanes when you go to Advanced, and becomes almost useless by the time you press Endurance.

How to Kill Orphix

How to Kill Orphix

As the name suggests, the goal of each mission is to kill as many Orfixes as possible in a survival style mission. As you kill Orfix and other enemies, your score will increase and each Orfix killed will give you a phase slot at the end. You can exchange this event currency for your father to receive exclusive rewards and the new Lavos warframe.

Killing Orfix is not that difficult. First, summon your Necramech or find him lying around. Then go to the Orphix icon shown on your map (Father will warn you when Orphix appears). Once there, Orphix will create resonators that must be destroyed in order for Orphix to become vulnerable. Kill the resonators (marked in red on your interface) so that Orphix will find its weak point right in the center. Shoot him until Orfix dies and then move on to the next one.

Orfix often gains half health, and then spawns more resonators. If this happens, simply kill the Resonators again to reveal Orfix's weakness.

Note that there is a Mind Control percentage on the left side of the screen below your Orphix kill counter. If it reaches 100%, the mission ends, since no more Orfixes can be killed. You will not fail the mission, but you will lose all possible rewards.

The maximum number of Orfixes that you can kill on Normal and Hard is 24. On Stamina, you can continue until 36 are killed.

In addition to the periodic bonuses Endo, when you kill Orfix, each killed you brings you a phasic cell. Hand in phasic cells with your dad for exclusive rewards, including blueprints for the new Lavos warframe and its signature weapon, the Cedo shotgun.

In addition, Father will also be selling a set of Necramech mods, making Operation: Orphix Venom an ideal farming mission to create his own Necramech. You can also get rewards that were previously only available while the Crimson Spear was active, such as the Cetic Lacera and Basmu weapon blueprints.

You will also receive unique rewards for achieving a certain number of points on each difficulty level. Score 500 on Normal to earn the emblem, 1000 on Advanced to get the Ayatan Hemakar sculpture, and completing Stamina with a score of 2000 will give you the Aura Shape and Skin of Mavsolon Supulhrax.

How To Modify Your Necramechs To Increase Stamina

How To Modify Your Necramechs To Increase Stamina

Of the two Necramechs available, Voidrig is definitely recommended for overcoming the difficulty of Endurance, as his Storm Shroud ability will prove essential for surviving an onslaught of Sentient Ones. Shield Maiden Bonewidow isn't terrible in terms of defensive abilities, but Sentients will attack from all sides, and Shield Maiden can only defend you from a small angle.

As is often the case with Warframe, high tier content requires a lot of health and armor, which is why Brozime recommends Necramech Vitality, Redirection, and Steel Fiber to start. Necramech Continuity, Streamline and Flow will keep your Storm Shroud for as long as possible, while Necramech Rage will help with energy consumption. Necramech Repair further increases the effective health of your Voidrig, and Necramech Hydraulics can help get your Voidrig to some of the hard-to-reach places.

When it comes to weapons, Mausolon is the best Arch-gun in the game, and it comes with your Voidrig so you can use it. Modify your Mausolon just like any other Arch-gun, with a focus on boosting critical and status damage.
