What is Cyberdeck Memory and how to increase it in Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberdeck memory in Cyberpunk 2077 is a special resource that you use to hack cars and people in Cyberpunk 2077. Below we explain how memory works and how to increase it.

The easiest way to say is that Cyberdeck memory is what hackers do, like mana is to wizards. It is used to perform certain hacks and will replenish over time when you are out of combat.

You can see the memory status of Cyberdeck when you look at any hacked object or enemy in scan mode. The number of segments indicates the number of memory modules - these are the units you “pay” to use the installed Crackers. The blue segments are available, and the empty ones with a red border are worn out, but they fill up on their own if no one attacks you.

In the example above, we have a total of 3 segments, of which only 2 are available.

How to increase the memory of Cyberdeck?

There are several ways to do this. The fastest way is to buy a new board from a vendor. Pay attention to the item description, which will tell you what is the base memory size for Cyberdeck.

You also increase memory by investing skill points in Attribute - Intelligence. Each point increases memory by 0.4.
