Which Legendary should I craft in WoW Shadowlands? Overview for all classes

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands brings back the most powerful item in the game: Legendarys. But you have to create this first and the choice must be carefully considered. We tells you which Legendary is best for which class.

What are legendarys? Legendary equipment items have special properties that can improve your skills or even change the way you play. Legendarys are the most powerful items in the game.

In Legion you still had to hope for chance to get the right Legendary for your specialization. In Shadowlands, you can easily create them with the properties you want.

However, the manufacturing process is very complex and the upgrade of the Legendarys takes even longer. So choosing the right subject to start with is quite important.

We looked around the experts at wowhead, Icy Veins and in the individual discords of the classes and put together a list for you of the best Legendarys for each class and each specialization, including the locations where you can find the ability.

Should I get started now? Many professionals recommend waiting until the Castle Nathria raid and the first Mythic season begin on December 9th.

So you won't be surprised by buffs or nerfs. But you can already use the list to prepare yourself and, if necessary, to provide materials. But if you want to be on the top of the Shadowlands DPS ranking , you need the right Legendary.

Our suggestions are guidelines for the items that will perform best in most environments. If they don't suit your style of play, it may be worthwhile to choose a "weaker" Legendary that you can get along with better.

Making Legendarys - Short Guide

How to make Legendarys: We already have a detailed guide on how to make Legendarys for you. We have summarized the short version for you here. If you want to make Legendarys, you need some materials for it:

  • a legendary basic armor from the manufacturing professions
  • Soul ash from Torghast or from adventures on the mission table
  • Fonts for secondary values
  • the appropriate reminder for the runic mason
The basic items must be made by blacksmiths, leather workers, tailors or jewelers.

Where can I get the effects? You will receive the reminders during certain activities. We have added the respective source directly to the individual Legendarys. You must take the memory to the runecutter in Torghast. From then on you have it permanently.

Some memories, such as those from Torghast, are harder or simply not always to be preserved. Others, such as those from dungeons, are easier to find, especially since there is no longer a daily ban on heroic dungeons.
