World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Mount Guide

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Mount Guide

In this guide, I will tell you about the mounts that live in the Dark Lands: all of them can be obtained in the open world, not farming raids or dungeons, and also without pumping reputation

In World of Warcraft, players have a huge selection of over 800 mounts to choose from. Transport in Azeroth can be chosen for every taste and color, and traveling around the world would be very inconvenient without running and flying mounts. Many players are engaged in collecting mounts, while others are accustomed to their pet and are in no hurry to replenish their stalls. However, with each expansion, the number of mounts only increases, and as many as 84 new vehicles have appeared in Shadowlands.

Mounts can be purchased for in-game currency and reputation from merchants, collected from chests, knocked out from monsters and bosses of dungeons and raids, obtained by completing secret missions and PvP activities. In addition, some mounts are sold on the Black Market.

In this guide, I will talk about the mounts that can be obtained in the open world, simply by completing tasks and killing different opponents in the vastness of the Dark Lands. For convenience, I recommend installing TomTom or any other add-on that displays coordinates.

Flying mounts

Larion Silverwind

Larion Silverwind

This majestic winged lion of Bastion is guaranteed to be contained within the Gift of the Silver Wind. To open this chest you need to hit the Silver Wind Bell (36.14 26.78) with the Herald's Crystal Hammer. A hammer is created from 50 Anima Shards. These shards are collected throughout the Bastion location. After you manage to collect all the shards of the anima crystal, you need to go to the Automaturge Gefesius at coordinates 59.33 31.42. He will collect the necessary Herald's Crystal Hammer for you.

Now all that remains is to strike the bell and get the coveted Larion of the Silver Wind.

Skymane reborn

Skymane reborn

Another mount soars in the skies of Bastion. The Ascendant Skymane is contained in the Cache of the Ascended. The latter appears after you have killed five rare mobs that are on the council of the reborn. It is easiest to summon the council of the reborn together with a group of other players, since these opponents appear after you hit the five bells located throughout the Bastion location. This must be done in five minutes.

If you managed to activate all five bells within the allotted time, a corresponding message will appear in the game chat. After that, the council of the reborn will appear in the area of the Aspirant's Awakening (53.5, 88.2). The council has a shared health pool. After defeating them, the awakened ones fly away leaving the players a chest with the Reborn Nebogryph.

Solar Dancer

Solar Dancer

The Bastion is home to many beautiful and graceful creatures. One of these is the flying horse Solar Dancerprefers to hover on the edge of the southernmost part of the location at coordinates 60.0, 94.0. Getting the mount of the same name is not as easy as it might seem the first time. You don't just need to kill or get to the Sun Dancer. He needs to be saddled. This requires a cloud glider. This gadget can be purchased at the Auction House and can also be crafted if you are a member of the Kiri Covenant. Together with the glider, you need to go to the Cloud Races, which take place at the coordinates indicated above. Next to the cliff is the ancient memorial Statue of Dresel. Clicking on the statue will give you a 30 minute Blessing of the Sun Rider and be able to see the Sun Dancer. With the help of the glider, you can fly to the horse and saddle it. It is better to jump on a horse at coordinates / way 61.37, 82.67.

Your adventures will not end there. The radiance of the Sun Dancer deals damage, and therefore you have to click on the Lull button that appears on the action bar and pacify the mount as quickly as possible. After calming down, he will stop doing damage and land. After that, you can talk to the horse and fight. After defeating the Sun Dancer, you will receive your reward. At the same time, the chance of dropping out a rideable vehicle is not 100%.

You can get a handsome man like the Silky Shimmering Moth for 30,000 gold at the Salorne Chief Officer. The merchant is located in Ardenweald at coordinates 43.1, 47.0, but in addition to the in-game currency, the player must join the Night People's Covenant and participate in seven different theatrical performances. To gain access to the Lake of Stars Amphitheater, you will have to direct the flow of anima to the Dreamsong Grove and talk to the director Swift Dew (41.5, 44.8). After that, an event starts, during which rare opponents will be summoned to the stage. The event is available once a day, and the performances change in a random order.

Dream Trap is only buildable by Night Folk Covenant players and requires a Broken Soul Web. It is difficult to get to this item, but after you get it you need to fix it from Elder Gwenna and turn the net into a dream trap for Ysera. After all the preparations, you can enter the dimension of dreams and fight the Night Mare.

Cradle of the Wild Seed

Cradle of the Wild Seed

The Anima Wagon is another flying mount found in Ardenveld. In order to get the Wild Seed Cradle , you need to find the Moon Cache and open it. The cache is located in Tyrna Vaal and is practically not marked on the map. It is guarded by a small pixie Twinkling Star. A small glow can be seen behind her, which will give you the location of the Moon Cache.

In order to open the Cache, you need to find 5 items. During the attack on the Garden of Night, Twinkling Star lost her gardening tools. After you collect all the necessary items, you need to combine them into the Shimmering Star Gardening Tools and give them to the pixie. Correct turns and passes in Mist Veil Thicket are highlighted with blue lights, as opposed to incorrect ones. They are illuminated by red lamps. Along the way, aggressive monsters will interfere with you, so the mount will greatly simplify the passage.

At the end of the maze, NPC Shizger awaits players. If you have completed the entire route correctly, then it will be possible to attack. After killing Schizger, you need to click on the Shimmering Mist Runner, after which the horse will appear in your collection.
