Released at the end of last year, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a vast, massive title, and full of secrets. While many easter eggs and other mysteries have already been unraveled, some still remain unresolved. The proof with the discovery, last weekend, of a new legendary weapon: the Arc of Nodens.
During his travels in England and Norway, Eivor has the opportunity to discover many legendary weapons straight from the Isu civilization. If it is quite simple to discover Excalibur, the legendary sword of King Arthur , Gungnir, the spear of Odin or even [id: 1350794 Mjöllnir, the hammer of Thor's , finding the Bow of Nodens is another story. .
It is indeed through exploration and testing that a handful of players have succeeded in discovering this weapon in a very unconventional way. While it is possible to achieve the arc consistently, the method applied is absolutely not the one intended by the Ubisoft teams, as Darby McDevitt stated following the video from YouTuber Jorraptor.
FYI this is a clever brute force hack, not the "proper” way to get this bow. There is an “in world” way to achieve it. But I suppose this works for an Any% Speedrun. 😎

The Narrative Director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla indeed affirms in his tweet that while it is indeed a clever way to force the obtaining of this weapon, it is absolutely not the right way to proceed. There is a legitimate way in the world to do this, but as of yet no one has discovered it.
COLLECT THE BOW OF NODENS
For now, here's how to get that overpowered bow. Start by going to the teleportation point of Brunton's Turret, located at the very top of the map in Eurviscire (images 01 and 02).
From there, join the large lake located right next to it, and more precisely, the small island which is near its shore (images 03 and 04).
Go on it to discover a pile of ore (Image 05). Hit it a few times to find it impossible to break it, then save. Then load your part in stride to see if you got the bow. If not, save again and reload. Usually it takes two to three tries for this to work.
