Facebook blocks the Fallout 76 community, suspecting players of involvement in the capture of the Capitol

Social network Facebook blocked the Fallout 76 user community, possibly mistakenly suspecting it of involvement in the protests in the US capital and the capture of the Capitol. According to the publication Screen Rant, a group called "Free States" was ostracized, which coordinates the solution of complex missions and events in the game. According to the mythology of the Fallout universe, the "Free States" is a faction of nuclear survivors who wanted to recreate society in the Appalachian region of Virginia. They specialize in the sophisticated repurposing of scrap and civilian equipment to produce weapons, gear and survival items. The group admins are alleged to have been unable to contact any Facebook employee for any comments or explanations.

Recall that in the summer of 2020 it became known that the developers of the popular science fiction series "Westworld" Lisa Joy Nolan and Jonathan Nolan are starting production of a new multi-episode show based on the world of the game "Fallout".
