Rumor: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I and II will be re-released on consoles later this year

The original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel Knights of the Old Republic II are said to be re-released on modern consoles later this year.

At least that's what the famous Star Wars insider Jordan Mason writes on Twitter . According to an insider who also recently participated in EA's Motive Maverick project (which was later billed as Star Wars: Squadrons ), he had heard of signs that both the original KotOR and its sequel would be re-released in the same style as recently. re-released Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer and Jedi Knight games for consoles. This suggests that re-releases of Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords are rumored to be exclusively upscaled ports of the original games.

No further details are known about these re-releases at this time, but it is said that these ports should not be confused with the rumored Knights of the Old Republic remake.

The original KotOR and its sequel were released in 2003 and 2004 for the first Xbox and PC respectively (the PC version was released after the Xbox version). Games for smart devices have also been released.
