ASSASSIN'S CREED: VALHALLA Update: River Raids and Title Update this week?

Seems like something is happening in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. As Ubisoft teasers on Twitter, a new update is in sight and that should bring bug fixes and optimizations in addition to the River Raids.

Okay, it's official for something to happen. Ubisoft posted a teaser on Twitter stating that the announced River Raids are on their way. Exactly when is not mentioned in the teaser, but it says "it won't be long". It is therefore quite possible that an update of the game can be expected on Tuesday, the usual patch day. After angry comments that Ubisoft should please take care of the still plentiful bugs, it was also confirmed that another title update with bug fixes and optimizations should come along with the River Raids. We are curious and will keep you up to date.

Basically, Ubisoft still has a lot to do with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. After all, there are still a number of bugs swarming through early medieval England and the new river raids are also expected to come in February. Now a Twitter post has emerged that gives hope.

If so, then in the foreseeable future - maybe next week - a big update will be waiting for you, which will blow up the installation size of the game to 67GB, at least for the PS5. That would be a lot - the current installation size is just over 50GB. The content of the River Raid update shouldn't be that small anyway, as the Jomsvikings, new runes, books and much more should be included. Apart from that, the list of bugs still open is still very long.

A specific date for the next patch has not been set, but it would not be unlikely that it will be released in the coming week - so what's the deal. In any case, it will be exciting to see what's in store for us in the coming months. After all, Ubisoft has confirmed that there should be more additional content for Valhalla than before for Odyssey - and that already had quite a few DLCs.
