COD COLD WAR: GUIDE TO THE BEST CLASSES IN THE LEAGUE

Since Call of Duty Black Ops 2, up to the current Cold War, the League has been one of the most engaging and gamer-loved modes of this historic shooter saga. Two teams of 4 players compete for victory to earn points and climb the rank of a competitive leaderboard. There are various levels to which you can be assigned, depending on your talent: Master, Elite, Expert, Advanced and Competitor .In Master, "the Olympus" of this mode, the best 2% of players end up, in Elite will be those between the best 3% -10%, in Expert the top 11-15% of users, in Advanced those between 16 % and 20% and finally the remaining in Competitor. In the League you can create your own classes, as well as, of course, use the predefined ones, and customize weapons and equipment.

How, however, to excel in a field so difficult and full of fierce rivals? For example, following this guide which will reveal the best classes to use in the League!

COLD WAR, A DIAMATTI IN THE HEART

To dominate in this mode it is always good to keep in mind what is our style of play and how we set against the objective to us: we are strategists or the Rambo bloodthirsty? Regardless of this, however, there are classes that can make a difference in placing you in a rank above your expectations. As a secondary weapon, whatever your style or game situation, it's always good to use the Diamatti at the moment. It is a reliable, powerful and accurate pistol. Even for its characteristics it is, in some cases, considered more an SMG than a real gun.

A MUST IN COLD WAR: THE OFFENSIVE CLASS

The best class you will have to create to play an offensive game is undoubtedly the one that uses an AK-74u as its primary weapon. In fact, with the right modifications, this assault rifle proves to be fundamental, being lethal both up close and over long distances. Mount the Microflex Led as optics, the Spetsnaz compensator for the sprint, and the Spetsnaz under the barrel.

The first one will do well for the barrel, the extended 9.3 ”which does not slow down the rate of fire excessively. Finally, for the grip use the Speed Sling, which will increase the speed without giving you any penalty. Almost all players prefer this assault rifle, so you will have to adjust accordingly trying to beat them right on the setup of the various grafts, aiming to eliminate them more quickly than they can do with you.

As a WildCard, with this duo of weapons it is good to use the Avarice Specialty, while as a class specialty the most suitable to insert are Splinterproof, Tactical Mask, Jackal, Assassin, Ghost and Ninja . Then choose the Stun Grenade for the tactical equipment, the Semtex as lethal, and the Trophy System for the field upgrade. The latter will allow you to disable a number of hostile equipment, such as grenades, greatly simplifying your life in many thorny situations.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN: THE DEFENSIVE CLASS

If you find yourself in the defense turn it is good to change your primary weapon, so as to be able to slow down the opponent's advance towards the target more easily. Here it is appropriate to maintain the skill and equipment setup of the offensive one, changing only the AK-74u with an XM4 . This versatile assault rifle, set up correctly, takes you out of the way of having to seek close combat, keeping you at a safe distance from the enemy while allowing you to decimate opponents and drive them back.

Always choose the Microflex Led as optic, while for the sprint the Infantry Compensator. For the under-barrel, rely on the Field Agent handle, and for the actual handle the Airborne Elastic Coating. Finally for the adjustable stock go to Pad Raider. This is precisely because the non-aimed fire will interest us relatively, and we can afford to damage its statistics to reward the aimed fire. With the XM4 set up in this way you will have to focus on accuracy, but it will be the assault rifle that will help you, making it almost impossible to miss the target once placed in the viewfinder. This is a very good weapon, also suitable for Cold War newbies.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN: THE DEFENSIVE CLASS

CLASS FOR "SEEK & DESTROY" MODE

For the League mode called Seek & Destroy instead, it is useful to change the equipment and the specialty we had used in the previous ones . First of all as WildCard we insert Transgressor. Then we choose the Phantom, Anti-Splinter and Tactical Mask skills, accompanied by the Smoke bomb as tactical equipment and the usual Semtex for the lethal one, to conclude our beloved Trophy System that has saved our feathers so many times. Let's now see the best weapons to combine with this setting.

As a primary weapon we find the faithful AK-74u, with the same setting seen for the offensive class. We will go to use it only when we have to push towards the goal. As a secondary instead we will choose a sniper rifle, the Tundra. We will mount the 28.2 ”extension to the barrel which increases the speed of the bullets by 25%. For the sprint we take the Infantry Stabilizer instead, which significantly increases our control over the oscillation of the speargun while we are stationary, which is essential since we will use it right from motionless. At the grip and the adjustable stock we take the Airborne Elastic Coating and the Raider Pad. As with the XM4, in fact, close fire will not be our priority and it is good to reward precision while aiming.

COLD WAR, THE MULTIPURPOSE CLASS

Finally let's see the last class among the best usable in the League, that is the most versatile and polyvalent one.   It is suitable for both attacking and defending, especially in the Location mode . Compared to the offensive and defensive class, only the main weapon will change: in fact, we will keep the same equipment and the same specialties. Instead of the AK-74u or the XM4, however, we are going to equip the Groza . This assault rifle is very balanced, accurate at both close range and long range, with minimal recoil and capable of dealing substantial damage to enemies.

At the optics the usual Microflex Led, as well as at the sprint, where we find the Spetsnaz Compensator. As a barrel we will instead engage the 16.2 ”Composite GRU, which will significantly increase the speed of your bullets and the damage done. Finally, the Spetsnaz on the under barrel and the Veloce on the handle.

Rely on these core classes and you will almost certainly see your results improve dramatically. Winning teaches you to win, and doing it continuously thanks to these tips will make you safer and more complete players. To stay up to date on the world of videogame guides, keep following OkayGotcha !
