Fortnite: This is how you get the new little heart skin before it appears in the shop

 In  Fortnite: Battle Royale  will soon enter a new skin for Valentine's Day. You can secure the little heart skin in a tournament before it appears in the item shop. We'll show you how you can get hold of "little hearts" for free.

What kind of skin is? Valentine's Day is celebrated in Fortnite with the "Wild Hearts" event. During this time, new skins appear that exude a lot of love. The little heart outfit is also included and is coming to the shop for the first time.

If you want to secure the skin earlier than anyone else and for free, you can prove yourself in a tournament. So you can already brag about your new outfit.

So you can get the little heart skin for free

In order to be able to earn the skin for free, you have to take part in the "Wild Hearts" Cup. We'll show you how to do it and what conditions must be met.

When does the cup take place? The duo tournament called "Wild Hearts" will take place on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

You have 3 hours to play a total of 10 matches and collect as many points as possible. In a duo you compete against your opponents in "normal" rounds.

This is how you take part in the Wild Heart Cup

What do you have to do? Since this is a duo tournament, the first thing you need is a comrade who will take part in the tournament with you. But everyone who wants to take part in the Cup must meet these conditions:

• The Fortnite account must be at least level 30
• You have  the two-factor authentication set up  have

Important:  These conditions apply to both duo partners who take part in the tournament together and must therefore be met by both.

What is the reward?

What can you win for free? Those who can prove themselves at the cup will again receive a skin for free. As already mentioned above, you can win the heart set at this cup. This is included in the set:

• The "little heart" outfit
• The back accessory "Dynamitherz"

Only those players who place in the top 1,750 will get the skin set for free and before everyone else.

Can I get the skin outside of the tournament?  If you are not placed among the best 1,750 players, you still have a chance to win hearts. The skin will appear later in the item shop and will then be available to all players. But then you have to pay for it.
