How to make a cart in Valheim and why you need it

 

Cart (Cart) in Valheim provides the player with a convenient mobile storage option for items and resources, perfect for mining or timber expeditions. Let's figure out how to craft a cart and how you can use it.

Most Valheim players face restrictions on the amount of cargo they can carry. The player constantly has to extract and transfer more and more resources. The total weight of all items in the cart and the terrain affect how easy or difficult it is to pull it. The cart obeys the laws of physics and can roll off a hill if released on a slope. The cart cannot be destroyed with a hammer due to the resources it contains. The cart has no weight limit and can accommodate 18 slots.

How to make a cart

To create a cart, the player must first make an Antler Pickaxe. It is crafted from a hard horn obtained as a reward for defeating the first boss , and 10 wood.

The player needs to mine Tin and Copper and then smelt them into bronze. To do this, you need a Forge and a Smelter. Bronze can be crafted into 20 bronze nails. After the player makes bronze nails, the recipe for making a cart will appear in the crafting menu. To make a cart, you need only 10 bronze nails and 20 wood (Wood).

To build the cart, right-click while using the Hammer. Click the Misc tab. Select the cart and place it in the desired location by clicking the left mouse button. After creating the cart, go to the front of it and press "E" to use it. The player will now be able to pull the cart with him.

How to use the cart

The optimal scenario for using the cart is when the player clears out a densely wooded area, breaking everything with his ax. The inventory filled with wood can then be unloaded into the trolley storage. The player can then grab the cart and run across the terrain to collect any materials remaining on the ground, transferring wood to the cart's crates as inventory fills.

The player can access the storage of the cart without lowering it, which saves a little time. We use the key combination "Ctrl + left click" to transfer materials to the open storage. Be aware that the cart can break, so watch out for water, stones and uneven surfaces. Do not let the trolls near it, they can destroy it with their attacks.

Also, the cart slows down the speed of movement and battles. When the cart is destroyed, its contents will end up in boxes that the user can interact with to get their belongings. The cart can be repaired with a hammer just like any other structure.
