How to tame a wolf in Valheim

How to train a wolf in Valheim

Valheim is a new game where you have to survive in the harsh world of the Vikings. While hunting is an essential part of the game, nothing beats finding and accumulating resources. All types of animals can be hunted. But more importantly, they can be tamed. In this guide, you will find all the information on how to tame a wolf.

To date, players have only found one working scheme for taming. Perhaps other methods may appear in the future. Besides, it is not clear how to tame the deer.

As for wolves, the technique is similar to the taming of wild boars . Wolves live in the mountain biome. Therefore, the easiest way to find them is in the mountains. Unlike all other animals, wolves not only breed and bring resources, but can also help in battles.

First of all, you need about 30 units of wood and meat. The tree is needed to craft a pen for an animal so that it does not escape. There must be a door in the corral so that in the future you can freely enter and exit.

After the fence is created, throw the meat there. It is better to build a paddock near the wolves, since you will have to lure the animal with you. When the beast runs to attack you, you need to run to the corral. Once the wolf is inside, exit and close the door.

It is better to move a sufficient distance so that the wolf calms down and begins to eat meat. Immediately after that, yellow hearts will appear over his head. If you look closer, you can see the growing percentage of attachment. When the percentage of affection reaches 100, the wolf will be tamed. This may take up to an hour.
