The latest update of  Animal Crossing New Horizons  introduces many decoration objects based on the Super Mario universe, on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. The logical thing is to take the opportunity to make a part of the Super Mario themed island, but some users have already discovered a way to use the blocks for one of the Animal Crossing players' obsessions: the caves.

The youtuber  Mayor Mori  has discovered a very original way to use the Super Mario blocks to build caves or tunnels, although with some limitations.

The first thing you should do is buy blocks and elevated blocks , in the catalog. It's only 1000 berries, but you can only buy 5 items from the catalog per day, so you will have to wait a long time ... or travel through time by changing the clock on the console.

Elevated blocks float as if by magic, and you can be below, making them ideal for building caves or tunnels. For example, to make this little cave, first use the terraform tool and make an opening, where you will then place the raised blocks. Placing regular blocks on the sides on the top floor will give you a more convincing look.

The biggest problem is that you cannot place any object below the raised block , so it will not help you if your intention is to make a porch, with an armchair; or a cave with a bonfire, you will be left with the desire. You can paint the ground with dirt to give it a more interesting look, and hide it a bit with flowers or grass to make it look more untamed.

Despite these limitations, there are many creative options for using these blocks. In fact, you can place small objects on top . It is a bit confusing to place them, because you have to be in the right position, and as they are floating objects, you cannot push them.
