Apple would be thinking of removing Rosetta 2 from macOS 11.3 Beta 3 in some countries

As we can see in the Twitter account of Steve Moser, editor of MacRumors , it seems that Apple is working to remove Rosetta 2 from macOS 11.3 Beta 3 in some countries , something that would prevent users of Mac computers with an Apple Silicon M1 processor from counting with x86 code emulation capabilities on the company's new equipment.

For now, the reasons behind this movement are unknown, as it seems that Steve's source of information is "only" code found in the operating system itself , rather than some kind of press release or official statement from Apple , which would clarify much better what the implications would be for affected users.

In any case, according to one of the users who has commented on the publication , it seems that there is a public file in the Apple infrastructure that should contain the regions in which Rosetta 2 should stop working , and for now it is empty, for So although support for this situation is being added, for now there seems to be no urgency to restrict its use.

Other novelties in this version of the operating system would be the possibility of assigning Mac keys as if they were buttons of a specific game controller , as well as the appearance of an option to connect with friends in the Game Center of macOS 11.3 Beta 3.
