The story of this anime series follows the fate of a young girl named Tohru Honda. Growing up without a father and just recently losing her mother in a car accident, she did not want to become a burden for her grandfather. In secret from everyone, she decided to live in the forest, placing her simple belongings in a small tent. But soon circumstances develop in such a way that she settles in the house of her classmate and learns the secret of his family. The girl has to sort out other people's problems, but her sweet and kind character helps her not to give in to difficulties
