Microsoft adds a new feature to speed up downloads on Xbox Series X | S

 

Xbox insiders are already testing this new feature for Xbox Series X | S, which allows you to suspend a game to speed up downloads.

Microsoft is studying to include a new feature in Xbox Series X | S , with the aim of accelerating the download speed of games through the interface. At the moment, it is only available to insiders, who are testing this feature for release soon . 

This is the option Suspend my game , which will be available in the Xbox download queue menu . As you already know, while we play a title, the download speed of others is reduced ... until now, since it will be possible to temporarily suspend a certain game.

Specifically, we will only have to access Manage queue on our Xbox Series X | S, and we will find the Suspend game function (in case we are running one, of course). The Xbox interface itself will warn us if the execution of a title is affecting the download speed.

The Xbox engineer, Eden Marie, says that it is an effective way to download games at a higher speed , with the possibility of resuming the title we were playing at any time. Either as part of the Quick Resume, or in an ordinary way, of course.

This feature will be released soon on Xbox Series X | S , as part of an update. In addition, Microsoft has reviewed the official Xbox app for Windows 10, and has included two new tabs in the Xbox Game Pass menu: '' Recently added '' and '' Leaving soon ' '.

All of these new Xbox features are undergoing testing , but are expected to be available to the public soon.
