Andrew Crawshaw, designer of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, presents with Thunkd and AMC Games his new game: available this summer on PC and Switch.

The Magnificent Trufflepigs is a new narrative adventure that will arrive this summer of 2021 on both PC and Nintendo Switch . This has been presented by those in charge, with Andrew Crawshaw , designer of the celebrated Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, spearheading the project with developer Thunkd and editor AMC Games . It is a first-person game starring Adam, a man who returns to the town of his childhood.

“The Magnificent Trufflepigs is a romantic first-person metal detecting game. You play as Adam, a resourceful yet compassionate man who returns to his childhood village of Stanning. There he will help a woman named Beth on her mission to unearth a local treasure. As cracks begin to appear in Beth's fairy tale plan, you will delve into her story and discover that all may not be what it seems. And you will have to choose how Adam responds to Beth when he faces his demons ”, we can read in his official description.




The Magnificent Trufflepigs invites us to explore bucolic landscapes in the English town of Stanning , with a quiet farmhouse as the main setting. Thanks to our metal detector, we can find treasures to discover a dark story from the past related to Beth, with her fears and insecurities. In addition, we can chat with Beth through our walkie-talkie , in addition to writing messages in real time.
