The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will also have a limiter for cryptocurrency mining operations

Recently we saw how NVIDIA tried to limit the situation in which miners hoard the entire stock of graphics cards by launching the NVIDIA CMP , which were supposedly going to use defective Ampere silicon, while limiting the mining capacity of the NVIDIA RTX 3060 in a way which hasn't really stopped miners , beyond those who only know about Ethereum's existence.

Now, as we can read in the kopite7kimi Twitter account, it seems that the future NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will also have a mining limitation that, unless it has been changed by then with respect to what we can already find in the RTX 3060, it will be pretty useless in reducing the demand for the cards by miners.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti would feature a GA102 GPU with 10,240 cores paired with 12GB of GDDR6x memory at a speed of 19Gbps , so on this front we find no surprises.

According to the information that we can read in VideoCardz , this model would have a launch scheduled for April of this year , although there are supposed previous dates with models of 20GB of memory through a 320-bit bus, unlike the 384 bits that will give access to these 12GB of memory.
