Cyberpunk 2077 will not be a flower of a year, and it is that CD Projekt wants to continue supporting the game during the following years.

After years of development, Cyberpunk 2077 finally saw the light of day late last year. Although it is an excellent RPG in its playable proposal, the serious problems that the PS4 and Xbox One versions had weighed down its launch and impoverished the image of the title and that of CD Projekt.


A few weeks ago the long-awaited patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 was released , which improves the performance of the game on consoles and fixes many of the bugs that were attributed to it. This is just another step in the roadmap CD Projekt , which in the coming months will release the first DLC and native versions for Xbox and PS5 Series X | S .


In an interview with Reuters, CD Projekt co-president Adam Kicinski confirmed that they will continue to support Cyberpunk 2077 for years to come , just as they did with The Witcher 3. The futuristic RPG will not be a "flower of a year". , and you will continue to receive updates, patches and content for years to come.


' I don't see leaving Cyberpunk 2077 as an option . We are convinced that we can bring the game to such a state that we can be proud of it and therefore sell it as a success for years to come, '' Kicinski explains.

 One of the most controversial points currently is that Cyberpunk 2077 is still not available again on the PS Store , after Sony removed the PS4 game (which can also be played on PS5) from the PlayStation digital store. Kicinski has also spoken about this.


A few weeks ago, the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 confirmed that they were in negotiations with Sony to bring their game back to the PS Store , something that Adam Kicinski reaffirms in this interview. He has not detailed where these negotiations are , but the intention is that the game will be available again as soon as possible.


Speaking of the game as such, we already told you that CD Projekt has paralyzed the development of the multiplayer mode , and will focus on continuing to polish the bugs of Cyberpunk 2077 . Patch 1.2 solved more than 500 bugs and errors , but it seems that the experience is not yet what the Polish studio promised for years .


Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, although versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S will arrive later this year , along with the next-gen update for another great CD Projekt game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. .
