NieR Replicant: How to Grow Flowers and Get the Legendary Flower

 This is everything you need to know about gardening at NieR Replicant. Grow flowers and you will get to the Lunar Tear, the legendary flower of the game.

We have a good number of side activities in NieR Replicant . One of the most complex is the cultivation of flowers, plants and food . The real goal of all this is to cultivate the Lunar Tear, the legendary flower . It is an extremely complicated process and you should know that it is no longer worth advancing the clock to collect seeds instantly, although we can manipulate the time to save time . Here we will tell you everything you need to know to be able to grow flowers successfully.

How to enable the cultivation field

There are two ways to activate the field to be able to cultivate:

• In the first part : complete the Shopping List and Back to shopping (it will expand the space).
• Second part : you will have to go see the florist in the Village of Nier and buy the object that she sells for 5,000 gold coins.

Hourly manipulation system

First of all, it is not worth changing the clock time , or changing it without an internet connection . However, it is possible to alter the time so that it only takes us 4 days of real time to get the Lunar Tear, compared to the 8 that it would normally take. We have seen this system shared by other guides such as PowerPyx , and it seems the most efficient. We can only guarantee its operation on PS4 / PS5 :

• Go to the start menu of your console and look for the option to adjust the time based on a time zone .
• You should see the UTC-11 option : Midway Islands . Set it as time.
• Now plant your flowers and save the game .
• Go back to the time slots menu and enter UTC + 13: 00 Independent State of Samoa .
• Now load the game and see which flowers have not "crossed" .
• Again put the UTC-11 and loading the game, you will see that the flowers have not bloomed . Simply change the ones that would not have been crossed and set UTC + 13 again until as many flowers as possible are crossed.
• Keep in mind that this trick only works once every 24 hours , you cannot fool the system into thinking that more than one day has passed.

Step 0: Minimum Materials

Go to the Coastal City grocery store and collect:

• Red Moon Seed x99.
• Golden Moon Seed x99.
• Blue Moon Seed x99.

It will be about 40,000 gold coins , nothing to write home about . You will have seeds left over , but you know what they say: better than capsize than not.

Step 1: grow Indigo Moonflower

• Set the time in UTC-11, save and load the game.
• Seeing this image , plant in the following arrangement:
• Blue: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15.
• Gold: 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14.

Now we start with the time changes:

• Save the game and set the time to UTC + 13. Load the game (it is not necessary to exit the game, you can do it from Options).
• Go back to the crop and record the position of all flowers other than Indigo Moonflower (leave all Indigo Moonflower uncollected).
• Set the time to UTC-11, load the game, and then delete and replant ALL tiles that would not have turned into Indigo Moonflower by looking earlier . This is because the result of the flower is decided as soon as it is planted , so those that have already been converted will be converted each time you manipulate the time slot.
• Repeat the process until when loading the game, you have a minimum of 9 indigo flowers.
• Now return to leave your time slot as it was.
• Allow at least 12 real hours to pass .
• Again change the time to UTC + 13 . This will mean that, from the theoretical time point in which you planted the flowers, 11 hours (UTC-11) + 12 hours (real) + 13 hours (UTC + 13) have passed, making a total of 36 hours, although only 12 have passed .
• Keep in mind that with the whole planting and replanting thing, the time is 12 hours from when you finished planting everything, not since you started .
• This will make the flowers seeds , we are interested in taking the Indigo Moon Seeds .
• You will get more than one Indigo Moon Seed for each flower , we told you there would be a minimum of 9 to avoid scares.

Step 2: grow Orange Moonflower

• Save, set the time to UTC-11, and load the game.
• Now we are going to repeat the EXACTLY SAME process , but changing the blue moon seeds for red moon seeds . The arrangement will be as follows:
• Red: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15.
• Gold: 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14.
• Again, you are looking for a minimum of 9 cultivated flowers .
• Follow the process above to artificially pass 36 hours in just 12 and collect the seeds.
