Outriders contains a careful easter egg about Dragon Age that many have been able to overlook

The Outriders creative team seems to have Dragon Age among their favorites. A newly discovered easter egg pays tribute to the Bioware saga.

Outriders has already been released on consoles and PC . The third-person shooter-looter has enjoyed a great start, although not without problems with the servers. The title has piqued the curiosity of many players and its sheer amount of content has a lot to offer.

Of course, the tributes, references and small Easter eggs have not missed their appointment with Outriders and the People Can Fly team has left their mark with a newly discovered Easter egg. As reported by  Game Informer , Outriders hides a wink related to Dragon Age.

The easter egg itself is an Outriders character named Alastair Cullen , who we will find in the Deadrock Pass area during the Mercado Libre side mission. Dragon Age fans will notice that this character has a name made up of two familiar faces from the Bioware saga: Alastair and Cullen.

Both Templars had their dose of prominence, but from People Can Fly they have not wanted this reference to be testimonial, if not they have given a true meaning to the Easter egg.

In the shooter's mission,  Alastair Cullen consumes a substance, to which he is addicted, which he claims to calm the inhabitants of that town , an obvious parallel with the two Dragon Age Templars, whose order was controlled in a similar way by the Lyrium , another drug. Therefore, it seems that from the Polish studio they are quite fans of the RPG saga.
