The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will receive the new chapter Blackwood in June 2021 . There is again a lot to discover in the new dark forest area. There are also some Sky Shards among them. We tells you where to find them.
What are Sky Shards? Skyshards are brightly glowing crystals scattered across the map of Tamriel. You can recognize them from a distance by the white-bluish glowing beam that rises up into the sky.
Skyshards can be collected by the players. Three collected sky shards give the player one skill point each. It is therefore always worthwhile to look out for the shining stones. They can be found both in vaults and outdoors.
How to get all Skyshards in Darkforest (Blackwood)
As in the already known areas of Tamriel, there are also some sky shards to be discovered in Darkforest. There are a total of 18 sky shards, 10 outdoors and 8 in vaults. This corresponds to 6 skill points.
Outdoor Sky Shards:
Sky Shard 1 - South of Grenzburg Wayshrine
Travel to the Grenzburg shrine and head south. You can find the Sky Shard by an Ayleid structure.
Heavenly Shard 2 - Between the fortress Red Mane and the shrine to the Vulpinaz Doom
If you travel to the Shrine of the Doomed Vault Vulpinaz, you have to go in a south-west direction to find the sky shard. It is close to the water.
Sky Shard 3 - East of Wilt
You can reach this Sky Shard via the Bloodstream Shrine. From there you still have to cover a good distance to the west until you reach the Ayleid ruin called “Wilt”. To the east of the ruin is the Sky Shard.
Heavenly Shard 4 - East of the world boss: The pond of the old dead wart / north-east of Hutan-Tzel
Travel to the Hutan-Tzel Shrine and head north-east. Passes the pond of the old dead wart (world boss) and crosses the water there. The sky shard is right next to a large tree.
Skyshard 5 - North of Gideon
Travel to the Gideon Shrine and follow the path north. The sky shard is next to a ruined chapel.
Skyshard 6 - West of the Ayleid Well next to Gideon on a tiny island
Travel to the Gideon Shrine and head south-west. There is a pond behind an ayleid fountain. In the middle of the pond there is a small island where you can find the sky shard.
Sky Shard 7 - North of the Tidal Cave / West of the Blue Blood Keep Way Shrine
There is an ayleid fountain in the near west of the Blue Blood Fortress shrine. A little further west and north of the tidal cave is this sky shard.
Sky Shard 8 - East of Xi-Tsei (Vault)
Travel to the Stonodeship Shrine and head north-west. Next to the Xi-Tsei vault you will find the Sky Shard.
Sky Shard 9 - West of Vulnak (Vault)
Go from the Vunalk Shrine in the direction of the vault of the same name. Before you pass the stone bridge, orient yourself to the right. You have to hop on the ledge on a ledge to collect the Sky Shard.
Skyshard 10 - West of Felshain (Trial)
This Sky Shard is near the entrance to Felshain (Trial). First travel to Stonod's Shrine and from there head south-east.
