WoW: Patch 9.1 brings many new pact mounts - this is how you get them

There are tons of new mounts in the new World of Warcraft patch . Here we show you the chic mounts available with the Pacts.

Patch 9.1 Chains of Dominion is in the starting blocks and brings lots of new mounts for the various pacts. Blizzard has already published a small preview of the individual new mounts in World of Warcraft and we will tell you where and how you can get the mounts.

The new mounts go hand in hand with the activation of flying - because this is also possible in patch 9.1 - at least in the areas of Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenwald and Revendreth. There is still a flight ban in the gullet.

Note that the following mounts are exclusive to the pact to which they belong. Even if the source of a mount is given as “rare mob”, the mount can only be captured by players who also belong to this pact.

The new Kyrian mounts: Kyrian players can look forward to the wings of the Elysian Aquilon. These majestic mounts resemble the goliaths of the bastion and were apparently created by the forges of the provosts. There are a total of 4 variants:

  • Elysian Aquilon: Fame Level 45
  • Ascendant's Aquilon: Fame Level 75 + 7,500 anima
  • Battle-Hardened Aquilon: Completion of the Campaign, Exalted by the Unstoppable Death faction + 1,000 Stygia
  • Foresworn Aquilon: Rare drop from the rare mob "Wild Worldbreaker"

The new mounts of the necrolords: necrolords are generally quite disgusting, after all they also live in Schimmelland Maldraxxus. Accordingly, they swing on the thick body of corpse flies. Yes, they are just as disgusting as it sounds.

  • Maldraxxian Corpse Fly: Glory Level 45
  • Royal Corpse Fly: Fame Level 75 + 7,500 anima
  • Battlefield Swarmer: Campaign Completion, Exalted by Unstoppable Death + 1,000 Stygia
  • Lord of the Corpseflies: Rare drop from the rare mob "Fleshwing"

The new mounts of the Nachtfae: Nachtae are in love with nature and therefore get a rather lively mount. The Ardenwildling is a mixture of cloud snake and fox, which reminds many a player of Fuchur from the Neverending Story. The Ardenwildling also comes in 4 versions:

  • Arden Wildling: Fame Level 45
  • Autumnal Wilderling: Fame Level 75 + 7,500 Anima
  • Winter Wilderling: Campaign Completion, Exalted by Unstoppable Death + 1,000 Stygia
  • Summer Wilderling: Rare drop from the rare mob "Escaped Wilderling"

The new mounts of the Venthyr: In the land of the vampires and gargoyles there are of course new mounts. The Venthyr sit on the backs of their grave wings. These stone creatures were brought to life by anima and safely carry their owners from battle to battle.

  • Gravewing: Glory Level 45
  • Obsidian Gravewing: Fame Level 75 + 7,500 Anima
  • Pale Gravewing: Campaign Completion, Exalted by Unstoppable Death + 1,000 Stygia
  • Mastercraft Gravewing: Rare drop from the rare mob "Stygian Stonecrusher"

Are there any more mounts? Yes! In total, Patch 9.1 brings a whopping 45 new mounts for collectors. There are only a few of them through the various pacts. Others you get as rewards in PvP, from the raid "Sanctum of Dominion", from the mega-dungeon Tazavesh or as a rare drop from enemies in Korthia. One or the other puzzle mount will also be there again.

Collectors should therefore get their money's worth in Patch 9.1 and be able to amass a lot for their mount collection.

Do you fancy collecting new mounts? Or are you interested in the other content of Patch 9.1?
