As you progress through Railway Empire - Northern Europe, you will develop the railway network, hire personnel, provide trains with service stations so that they do not get up ahead of time, install semaphores and add additional tracks to existing lines. In addition, you will have to choose the goods you need for transportation, develop cities and compete with other rail companies.
New stations can only be built near cities or large enterprises. However, the game has some limitations that slow down your development. For example, the map area available for exploration is relatively small at first. To expand the construction zone, it is necessary to complete story tasks - to connect cities with railways, increase their length, ensure the growth of the number of settlements, and so on. Please note that in order to expand the available territory, you need to complete not one specific order, but everything from the current list. You can find it in the upper left corner of the screen.
As you progress, new areas with valuable resources and cities will open up. Sooner or later, the entire map will be available for construction.
