Can I turn off the move limit in Humankind? What happens if the move limit is exhausted

Humankind is a turn-based strategy game that allows you to create your own civilization and lead it through the entire history of mankind. As in other games of this genre, each game here is limited by the number of moves. In this guide, we will tell you about the move limit in Humankind - can it be changed and what will happen when it ends.

The maximum number of moves in Humankind is determined at the very beginning of the game, when adjusting the parameters of the current game. The Pace menu is responsible for this parameter. In total, there are five options for the duration of the game:

  • Blitz - 75 moves.
  • Fast (Fast) - 150 moves.
  • Normal (Normal) - 300 moves.
  • Slow - 450 moves.
  • Endless - 600 turns.

As soon as the set limit of moves is over, the game will stop and the winner will be determined. However, the game may end much earlier if one of the following conditions is met:

  • All states were destroyed except one.
  • All nations became vassals to one empire.
  • Earned all the stars of the modern era.
  • The tech tree is fully open.
  • A rocket was sent to Mars with settlers.
  • Planet Earth has become uninhabitable.
The winner is determined by the number of Fame Points that you and other players will receive as your civilizations develop. The party will be won by the one who has the most of them. Fame points can be earned in a variety of ways, from earning era stars to winning wars.

Is it possible to disable the move limit in Humankind

Unfortunately, unlike Civilization 6 , in Humankind you cannot cancel the limit of moves or set their exact number manually. You can only choose one of the proposed options. However, after the end of the game and the announcement of the winner, you can continue to play further. In this case, there will be no restrictions or conditions, and the game will last as long as you like. At least as long as your empire exists.
