Walkthrough Grime - game guide

Detailed walkthrough of all levels of Grime, search for weapons, items, improvements, tactics and strategy of battles with bosses

After the introductory video, move to the right using the D key. Jump to SPACE, climb walls, and so on. Eventually, new enemies will appear - frail hands. Hold the Q key while hitting your hand to absorb damage and perform a counterattack. The circular orange scale gradually fills in. Press E to convert it to health points.

Weeping Cavity, Depths

Arriving at a new location, go up and take the item (key F). This is levolam dust. When you activate this item, you instantly return to the last activated surrogate. Interact with a large stone. It is used as a save point and a place to upgrade the hero. However, so far there is nothing to improve. In addition, you will respawn at the last activated Surrogate.

Climb up and destroy the crawler by pressing Q at the moment of impact. Pick up your nails. They can be thrown like daggers at opponents. Walk a little further and jump down from the thin platform to a hidden room with Levolam Dust. Climb higher and to the right. At the cul-de-sac with the pitcher, jump upward to find another hidden passage with lurking sands (when used, the next drain grants 100% more breath) and an ancient limb. Follow up and listen to Jon. He promises to bring some kind of gift.

Kill the enemy on the left, climb up the walls and jump to the ledge on the right to pick up a tiny shapeless mass. When activated, it gives 100 shards. Jump to the left, kill the crawler and pick up another shapeless mass in the cache on the right. When you destroy 4 puny hands, you get a bonus - stamina regeneration when absorbed. Keep killing enemies and you will receive other bonuses for them. More details on the second tab in the pause menu. Destroy two arms to create a shortcut to the surrogate. Climb higher and kill the boulderhead. Reflecting the attack of the devil's hand will subsequently damage the attacker. Climb higher and follow to the right to find yourself on a long ledge with Yon. Use Shift to go through the corridor with rocks on top. Talk to him, and he will give the first weapon - a shock ax.

Remember the shortcut to the surrogate you created by shattering two arms? So to the left of one of the passages there is a niche covered with stones. Break these stones with the impact hammer (LMB or RMB), kill the enemies inside and get to the boulderhead that is standing on the edge. You should have seen it earlier when you were prompted to look up and down with the W and S. Kill him (he will not attack) to get a new weapon - the fingerblade.

Go to where Yon passed the Impact Hammer. Break the wall on the right and climb up, where the purple lights are flying. You can also go back to a surrogate. By killing enemies and breaking jugs, you collect shards. This is the main currency in the game. For fragments, you can improve 5 main attributes:

  • Health
  • Endurance (strikes)
  • Strength - increases damage from weapons that need strength
  • Agility - Increases weapon damage that requires agility
  • Resonance - increases the damage of skills and weapons that depend on resonance

You can upgrade your desired skills. Here you will find the first beacon that reveals the location map. Climb up and fight the Madcap. Use Shift to dash through the enemy when he decides to launch a red attack. Walk right and climb up to smash the wall and pick up the mourner's spiked torso. Equip an item in your inventory. You will soon be able to find a field of debris. When activated, temporarily increases defense by 15%. Continue right and jump down. Move to the right and at the fork follow the bottom, breaking rocks. Climb up to the ledge with the enemy who throws spikes. Kill him and pick up Unstable Eyes. This is an explosive projectile. Slightly above this enemy are paired blades - another weapon.

Follow the left into a hidden passage to find a small shapeless mass (+250) and three enemies guarding the mourner's spiked arms. Be sure to equip them. Climb up the wall and head right through the cave, killing the spiked enemies. Follow above, smash the jugs and discover the mourner's spiked legs. Continue to the left, break the wall and find a blood metal shard (red). In the future, you can install it in the weapon. On the way, Thornhead can be found in a niche on the left. For destroying it, you will receive one more hunting point. They are used to activate and improve skills unlocked by killing enemies. Climb down and break the wall to create a shortcut to the lighthouse. Chat with the Deformed here. Twice so that she attacks you.

Weeping Cavity, Tearfalls

Climb up and talk to Yon through the wall. Activate another surrogate. Move up and to the right, past the spike traps. At the end of the path there will be three devilish hands and an object. This roaring wand is a new weapon. Go down the wall to find a spiked passage with a long arm. Get to the hand, destroy it and take the item - the omnipresent pearl. Allows to extract spent hunting points from skills. And if you go even lower, you can find the second shard of blood metal and break the wall, creating a shortcut to the surrogate.

Very soon you will reach the first boss - Amalgam. First, attack the huge stone head. When the arms appear, use the absorption at the moment of impact to destroy the arms on the left and right. You can get to the hands on the right with the Shift key. Amalgam will then show its true form. She will have many hands. Use Absorb when Amalgam hits with a hand, clenching it into a fist. You need to dodge red attacks with the Shift key. In rare cases, you can jump over. The arms will grow back all the time, but don't pay attention to it. The main thing for you is to inflict damage on the enemy. You can also attack Amalgam not only with absorption, but also with your weapon. Remember that absorption is important for healing. After you win, you will unlock Ardor. Successful absorption increases the Glow level. The higher the ardor, the more breath you get for killing enemies.

Shapeless Desert, Ridge Slope

After the victory, talk to Yon and go outside. Activate the surrogate on the left. Use the dash to fly over the wall on the left. Climb down on a thin platform (S + SPACE) to find a blood metal shard. Go down below and defeat the young Ira. Walk right and defeat the Irah Warrior with a spear to get a hunting point. Also on the side is a new weapon - the glaive of the ilv. Go back to the surrogate and go right. Go down to the niche below to find a new weapon - a petrified fist.

Go down to the next pit. New enemies will appear here. When approaching, they will explode. It is best to kill them with your nails - throw them from a distance. On the right, there will be a new armor - legs made of cobblestone armor. Climb to the surface and kill the first claw. It will be pretty easy to pick up a Blood Metal Shard in a cave with spikes on the floor and ceiling. Climb down and follow the left to find a cobblestone torso. Directly above it, slightly to the right, there is a thin flight on the ceiling. Jump up there and pick up the cobblestone arms.

Walk back and right. Go down on a thin platform and find a lighthouse on the right. Configure it to open a map of the region. Move to the left and kill the eye morph, which it throws with two eyes. For it, you will receive a hunting point. Continue right, go up and left, towards the surrogate.

Shapeless Desert, Head Shell

On the left is the merchant Geod. For breathing, you can buy two weapons from him - a claw and a shock sword. Walk right. Do not jump up to the spear-throwing statue, but enter the secret compartment on the right to find a blood metal shard. Walk down and left to the area with giant arms. Kill the Eye Morph to get a Hunt Point. Go right, kill the stonehead. Continue driving and soon you will see a stonehead who will run away to complain to "moms".

Litith, top

Activate the "Litit, Top" surrogate. I recommend investing your hunting points in the miserable skill, which increases damage depending on your level of ardor. Gathering up the maximum fervor is pretty easy. Go ahead, defeat the enemy and listen to Jon. Pick up a live cobblestone. Go downstairs and pick up the portrait from Litith. Walk left and down to the pit. Follow left, passing under a lot of falling blocks. Don't forget about the Shift dash. You can climb higher on one of the blocks. This path will eventually lead you to a crumbling bridge. Jump down, kill two regular enemies and one Ravenous. For the latter, you will be given a hunting point. The Ravenous skill will allow you to gain more ardor. As you continue down the retractable blocks, you will find your way to a new weapon - the obelisk fist. Slightly to the right there are petal stone legs.

Return to the very beginning of Litita and go right. Walk through the falling bridges. If you climb to the very top of the stairs and falling platforms, you can find a new weapon - a pillar plate. Go to the right and pick up a shard of bloodmetal. get down below and below. Keep left and you will find a lighthouse. Activate to see the entire map of the location. Follow the left and get to the surrogate.

Litit, bottom

Go left, a little lower and you will find an art dealer (in a dead end room where stoneheads work). You can buy hyaline legs, arms and torso from him. You will have to pay for everything with special items. So, the torso can be exchanged for a portrait from Litith, found earlier. keep going down and you will soon reach the bosses, the Whispering Mothers. But first, be sure to head up the stairs and break the wall on the left to create a shortcut to this area.

So, first you have to fight against two Whispering Mothers. Do not stand under the stones rising into the air, run when a luminous sphere appears that will chase you. You can dash. Also keep an eye on the floor. If an orange floor appears under one of the mothers, run away from it. As soon as you deplete the entire health scale, one of the mothers will die, and the other will get angry. We'll have to deplete the full health bar again. This time, the mother will use two non-parry attacks. When it glows red, be prepared to dodge twice. Then, after such a dodge, run closer to your mother, wait for her to swing, and hold down Q. Such counterattacks will do much more damage! Step back afterwards, as the mother may scream violently.

After defeating the Whispering Mothers, you can use a special vine to attract objects. Click on the mouse wheel to aim.

Head back upstairs and head to the right of the lighthouse to find a mini-boss. Defeat the Harmless Stone Giant. The first half of the health is not protected, so you can use the parry on Q. But the second half of the health will have to be dealt with with the help of melee weapons. For winning, you will receive an increase in your maximum breathing reserve.

Litith, elevator hewn

Head to the right of the battle with the Whispering Mothers, pull platforms with vegetation and get to a new surrogate. Take the elevator up and activate the surrogate at the Pillar of Peace location.

Pillar of Peace, Shidra

Go right, past the merchant Geoda, and talk to Shidra. He will ask you to get the essence of the beast lurking in the Feeder's Lair. Also at Shidra you can improve the weapon, for the fragments of blood-metal, which you should have collected by this moment 10 pieces. Now you can buy consumables from Geod. An assistant has appeared a little higher, you can buy several types of weapons and fragments of blood metal from him.

Nerve root

Follow the right of Shidra and go down, where the glowing sparks indicate. Activate the beacon, go down even lower. The path to the right leads to the Nervolaz, but you cannot open it yet. Walk left as this path leads to the Feeder's lair. Continue left, pulling platforms and avoiding the electricity. When you have killed the first enemies (the skeletons of the stealers), go to the right to get to the Roothod. It is he who lets out his long tentacles, which creep out from under the ground. For killing him, you will receive a hunting point.

Move left and down. Go down three to a row of vines, killing new opponents. Wait for them to shine, dodge and counterattack while the enemy is on the ground. When the health pool is below the mark on the scale, you can use absorption on the Q key. When you go down on the second liana, dash from it into the hidden niche on the right. This is where your first blood metal shard is stored. you can improve any weapon with fragments only 2 times, and then you need fragments.

Jump down from the second liana and move to the left. Head down the platforms by holding S and pressing SPACE. You will be taken to a new area with working electric plants and a Root Walker behind the wall to the left. When killing enemies, watch out for the tentacles that appear from the ground. First run to the right, go down a little lower and turn left. There will be a wobbly platform under your feet. Jump off it into a cache with two enemies. Walk to the right and pull the roots under the ceiling holding the object. This will give you a new weapon - the two-handed sword of the Hewn. Get out of here, just to the left on the ceiling there are roots with Dust. Pull them in with a new skill. Go left and talk twice with the servants of the Path to get Tenacious and Coal Roots.

Go back to the right and head in that direction. Climb down until you find fireflies. They lead you to the right, but the path is blocked by an electrical barrier (not disabled). Go left and find a surrogate.

Nerve root

Climb up above the surrogate, pulling the platform, and you will see a huge yellow knot. Drag it over the mouse wheel to disrupt and disable all electrical barriers in the area. Head back to the right where the sparks are pointing to activate the beacon and see the entire map of the region. Go even further to the right of the lighthouse, kill all enemies and pick up a piece of blood metal.

Walk to the left of the lighthouse and jump down into the pit where there used to be a large electrical barrier. Go down the center where there are platforms. On the right you can find a new weapon - "Discarded Device". Do not go to the right for now, as you will not be able to jump over the large pit with orange discharges. I didn't find a way to get out of the hole, so I killed myself and returned to the surrogate.

Climb up from it and follow to the left. Here you destroyed the device that created the electrical barriers. Continue left, sometimes going downhill. Pull platforms up in certain places to jump over large electrical barriers. After passing through such barriers, do not rush to attract the platform, above which there are roots with Zest. Go downstairs and go to the niche on the right to destroy the familiar device and pick up the omnipresent pearl. Continue left and destroy the huge monster to get a hunting point.

Pull off the clot that forms the electrical barrier and go downstairs. When there is a tunnel with barriers above you, take your time and climb to the very top, jumping on platforms to pluck roots with an object. This will be the new weapon "Drag Lantern". After going down below, go to the right. Jump down the attracted platforms (crouch down to see them) and soon you will find yourself on a new location.

The Feeder's Lair, the Flooded Bones

At the entrance, you will meet Stonehead. Talk to him and then smash to get an Omnipresent Pearl. Activate the surrogate. You can go up the stairs, then on the other. There will be a secret passage on the ceiling. And along the way, you will destroy the wall. So this will create a shortcut to Litith. And to jump back onto the high wall, use the mouse wheel and pull the glowing block out of the ground. It is easy to recognize.

Go to the left of the surrogate, talk to Geode and kill the first lurkers. There is a glowing spot on the left in the wall. Pull the block out (with the mouse wheel). Keep going lower and lower, jump off the transparent blocks and move left. Pull blocks from the walls and floor to climb up or climb over holes. When you pass through the first acid waterfall, pull the pole out of the ground and go upstairs to the surrogate.

The Feeder's Lair, The Tormentors

Go right and kill Lazykomorph to get a hunting point. Return to the left and head downstairs. Go to the right and kill the headworm spitting black midges. Pull the block out of the ground, climb it and teleport behind the wall with Shift to find the arms from the jaw armor. Now head left and kill the huge Jaw Crab. Use absorption to neutralize him and attack with weapons. This will kill the enemy as quickly as possible. This will increase the maximum amount of ardor.

Walk left. Teleport behind the wall to the left to kill another Tongue Morph. Go back a little behind the wall and climb up. When you go up the stairs between the jaws, go left without going higher. Pull blocks from the floor or walls so as not to fall into the acid pits, and this way get to the piece of blood metal. Destroy the wall to create a shortcut.

Climb up. Chat with the Listener on the left. You cannot go through two sets of jaws. Move to the right, go down the long stairs and follow the right. Smash the wall by creating a short way back, but then head left and down to the Vulture's lair. When fighting the Vulture, be aware of his attacks. When he swings his beak (twice in a row), you can try to use absorption. If he flaps his wing, run back and jump over the moving white blade. If it takes off and flies in your direction, dash under it to avoid poisonous projectiles. And when you see a yellow dot on the ground, stand behind it and pull a piece of rock out of the ground. This is the only way to avoid the powerful attack of the Vulture. When you deprive him of all his health, the second stage will begin. On it, for example, will use two blades per row. Long worms will also appear. Kill them to replenish the supply of breath and, if necessary, get an opportunity for healing. After the victory, take away the power. You can now dash directly in the air. Try this skill a little higher by pulling a block out of the ground, jumping and flying through a wall. Behind it will be a torso made of jaw armor. In the same place where the Vulture was killed, activate the lighthouse.

You can go back to the Listener, use new skills to fly through the mouths and fangs. This path will lead you, ultimately, to an omnipresent pearl and a piece of blood-metal.

Nest of Gloom

Go back to the last surrogate. Die or use Levolam Dust. Then go to the right and climb up, which you could not do before. You need to jump towards the blocks in the wall, push them out with the mouse wheel and dash with Shift. Overcome many obstacles and go up the tunnels with bombs. They need to be pulled down and jump over until they explode. This path will lead you through a powerful monster with a hunting point. You can also find two pieces of blood metal. And finally, you will meet the Goldenhead, who will greet you in the Nest of Darkness. At the entrance is the first piece of Legs of the Searing Shell armor. Explore this location of your own free will!

Pillar of the world

Head back through Nerveroot. Remember the path to the right, where there were large pits with orange discharges. You can now overcome them with a dash jump. This path will lead to an elevator that you can run to quickly go upstairs. But pass by and go down the long stairs. Dash into the niche on the left to find the new Scourge Centipede weapon. The path to the right leads to the Lonolad Garden location. Let's not rush. Come back and take the elevator up. Talk to Shidra. He will direct you to Lonolad Garden.

Lonolad Garden

Take the elevator down and go right until you find a garden. Thorny vines cannot be touched, but you can bypass them with a dash.

The path of the servants

Return to the surface as there is no way to go there. From the chambers of Shidra, go right to the very end. The bridge is now down and you can walk through the palace. Go down the stairs and kill the first few enemies. Pull your stone palms to climb higher. The second such palm leads to the ledge in the upper right, where the location surrogate is located. Move to the right, jumping along the disappearing platforms. Be careful with enemies who throw spears. You can kill them if you want. For the rest, it is mostly not necessary to go down or go up. So you will reach the palace, in the hall of which there will be the first surrogate.

Palace of the Hewn, Entrance

The path to the right leads to the gate to the Cenotaph. To open them, you need to create a Printout. You don't have the item yet, so go back to the surrogate and climb up the nearest stairs. Pull the platform on the string to the left using the mouse wheel. Climb higher and jump onto the platform. Jump up and pull her to start moving to the right. You can deflect all normal spears (not red) by using absorb on Q. When the platform hits the wall on the right, jump up and pull it to climb up. On the right, you can kill a dangerous victim to get a hunting point.

In this part of the palace, go left and up. Follow this route and then jump down the crumbling slabs. This will get you to the place where the grinding blades are hidden. Do the same route again, but during the fall, dash through the thorny vine to the right, to the stairs. Move to the right along the movable platforms (which disappear and appear), rise higher and extend your hand, and then make a dash towards it. You will climb to the next tier of the palace. Move to the left, dodging various obstacles, until you find an elevator. Pull the orange lantern to activate the elevator. Ride it down and press against the wall to the right, where there is a grate. Teleport through it to get a piece of blood metal. this item is needed for further weapon upgrades. Take the elevator and get off at the middle floor of three. Geode is on the right.

Then go left. Alternatively, you can go down under the elevator on the first floor (by sending it up) and find loot on the left and right. On the left is the torso of the festival. Take the elevator back to the middle floor. Follow the left, killing enemies. Eventually, you will see a long line for the moving platform. Jump to the left and dash through the narrow hole. Create arms and go upstairs. Jump to the right, dash through two narrow holes to the row. Continue upstairs and you will soon find the very platform. So, you need to accompany her along the entire line, pulling in the right places. If you haven't noticed before, notice that some of the rope is nearly broken. So in such places, you must re-pull the platform so that it does not collapse. Pull the platform to the left. Repeat on a thin thread. Pull the platform down and follow along the ledges on the right. Pull the platform to the right and repeat on a thin thread. Continue to pull it along the electric cable and ride it upward, pulling in places where it breaks. Eventually, you will reach a previously unexplored part of the palace. There will be a dangerous enemy here. I recommend walking past it, going up the stairs and opening the door, creating a shortcut to the third floor elevator. Now you can safely fight a dangerous enemy to get a hunting point. go up the stairs and open the door, creating a shortcut to the third floor elevator. Now you can safely fight a dangerous enemy to get a hunting point. go up the stairs and open the door, creating a shortcut to the third floor elevator. Now you can safely fight a dangerous enemy to get a hunting point.

Climb up and follow on. Soon you will find another cable, along which you need to lead the platform. You have done this before, and now there should be no problems. After going upstairs on the platform, activate the elevator on the right so that you can travel to the upper floor. Take the elevator down and get ready to jump to the left. This path contains purple sparks that lead to the lighthouse. Activate it. here you can also open the door you saw earlier.

Go back upstairs, go right and up the stairs from the closed door. Go through the enemies and ride on the first platform. Then launch the second platform up. Stand on it. Run it to the left. Fall down in time without hitting the electricity and dash onto the platform on the left. Jump onto the movable platform on the cable and follow up. Follow this path, bypassing or killing enemies, until you find this movable platform in the far left corner. Ride it up. Go under the electric spears and activate the elevator on the top floor. There will also be a new surrogate.

Palace of the Hewn, True to Form

Open the door on the left to create a shortcut to the main elevator. Ride up to battle True to Form. Dodge his blows and projectiles, counterattack, rolling behind your back. When depriving the boss of health, avoid the huge hand until the bar is empty. You don't need to attack her! You should just survive this hand! After that, get a new skill and can be attracted to purple objects through the mouse wheel. Try it out by moving left and collecting loads of loot.

Lonolad Garden

Run back to the Pillar of Peace. At the very beginning of the palace, the bridge to which was lowered after the murder of the Vulture, on the right side, there are purple points for the hook. Move on them upward and get to the cache with the new weapon "Sword True to Form". You can now dash through the thorns, grab onto the purple dot, and dash through the other thorns. It is not necessary to go down into the first hole. There will be enemies, and in the niche on the left - a piece of blood metal. This path leads to a dead end!

Return to the Palace of the Hewn, and head right and down the stairs from the surrogate and the elevator on the ground floor. This path will lead to purple holds. Grab them, and then go down for a very long time. Keep heading left and down until you find yourself in Lonolada's garden. Activate the surrogate.

Garden, Hair Strands

You can use the purple hooks above the surrogate to get to the piece of blood metal. And so go left, go down lower and lower, but when possible, turn left. In the end, you will be able to climb on the purple thing moving up and down (pull towards it) and smash the wall on the ledge to the left. Follow to the left, in the middle of the stairs you need to dash to the left, where purple sparks indicate, in order to find and activate the beacon. Go down the stairs and look to the left for a new surrogate.

Garden, Thirsty Trees

Move to the right if you want to fight a dangerous enemy and get a hunting point. Walk left, overcome several obstacles using familiar skills, and you will soon find a child particle. You also need it. Return to Shidra by any means. However, there is only one most convenient way. In the cave where the child's particle was found, pull the platform towards you. Stand on it and jump when it rises up. This will take you to the purple hold. Reach for him and dash to the left. Pull another platform on the branch. When she goes to the left, jump there to give the jump an acceleration, and with an additional dash, fly to the ledge. This path will allow you to find and break the wall that was blocking the route from the side of the Pillar of Peace. Return to Shidra, give the Particle and receive the key.

Palace of the Hewn

Walk to the right again until it stops, through the palace, and find the door on the first floor to the right of the surrogate and the elevator. Open it with the key "Printer".

Behind the barrier

Move to the right, climb the disappearing platforms and activate the surrogate. Follow from him to the right, down the stairs and jump to the right to the lighthouse. Climb the ledges near the surrogate. You will need to use the snatch and be attracted to the orange fruit. Besides, you need to smash the white walls. It will be a difficult and long climb, but eventually you will reach the desired city.

Cenotaph city

Explore the city, and when you're ready, head upstairs and ring the bell. To attack the boss, use the yellow balls above the tall columns of puppets. Pull to them and attack. When the boss has about 75% health left, he will descend to the ground. Dodge and attack no more than 1-2 times. Now you have access to double jump and maximum weapon upgrades!

Heaven

Climb higher and activate the surrogate. Search the entire area and take this route back to the Pillar of Peace. Save with the surrogate. Climb higher and higher above the place where Shidra was to meet the final boss. There will be another surrogate in front of him. Absorb energy to free yourself from the shackles.

When pillars of light spread to the sides, and Shidra squeezes two hands, use a dash to dodge. Any hands should be attacked. You can also gravitate towards the boss's head. Use this when red thorns are driving into the ground, as soon the entire floor will be covered with red haze, damaging you. Towards the end of the battle, his attacks will intensify, ordinary mobs will appear, and due to them it will be possible to restore Dust.

After defeating Shidra for the first time, jump up and gravitate towards the falling yellow drops. You can absorb punches to deal massive damage to the Shidra. When you're ready, interact with him. From now on, you can navigate between surrogates. Climb up and watch the final video.
