The collective value is the essential element for the building of your team and its evolution in the FUT ( FIFA Ultimate Team ) mode of FIFA 22. Indeed, if the new players focus on the cards, the collective level will be the key factor in the creation and development of your dream team. So, this is the value that will prevent you from really using anything and everything on the map but will also be a direct representation of how well your eleven was built.

How does the collective value work on FUT?

The collective on FUT more or less corresponds to the level of synergy between the different players of a formation. Thus, in order to have a good collective level in your team, it must have the following elements:

• Players evolving from their main position
• Specific synergies between nearby players (linked by a link)

The individual collective (at player level) therefore begins with its position. If an attacker is placed in the middle of the field, he should see his collective level drop, thus limiting his values.

Note that it is possible to use FUT elements to change the position of your player. However, each change leads to the loss of this element, causing a relatively high cost (several thousand credits) especially at the start of the season. In addition, the possible positions are limited, an MG will not be able to pass BU through a permanent change of position. On the other hand, it is possible during the game, to move a player to limit the penalty related to his position, or to modify his position via your personal tactics .

But the collective value will also evolve if the links between the players are positive. To obtain a positive link, both players must have:

• Of the same nationality
• Evolve in the same club
• Or play in the same league

The global collective value will therefore be made up of the total of the collectives of each player. A score below 80 (out of 100) indicates that players are in the wrong place or that the links are too often red.

Exceptions via special Icons and Future Heroes cards

Again, there are exceptions with Icon cards and FUT Heros cards, new to FIFA 22. Icon cards can be linked with any card in the game. Thus, the link will be at least yellow. with an Icon card, allowing much more flexibility within your FUT formation.

Regarding the FUT Heros cards , these will create a strong link with all the cards of the same championship as her. Thus, David Ginola's card will give a strong link with Renato Sanches, even if the latter does not play in the same club and they do not have the same nationality.

The collective, what importance on FUT in FIFA 22?

As in previous editions, the collective value is the most important element of the FUT mode of FIFA 22. Indeed, a bad score will decrease the value of your cards and thus nullify your work of optimizing your players. .

Indeed, the styles placed on your players take all the senses only if the card to 10 of individual collective. For example, a Hunter element will not give a +10 speed boost without 10 collective, but a limited total. Since the collective is obtained by placing the players in their real position (unless making a change) and according to the different synergies between the cards, it is best to follow the following tips:

• Favor FUT teams made up of players from the 5 major European leagues or major nations on FIFA 22
• Use trainings that limit links on your maps where synergy is difficult
• Anticipate your future eleven based on your current cards for the collective

Note also that it is possible to improve the collective score via the choice of the coach if he shares the same nationality or championship as the majority of players. But it is also possible to win collectively via the loyalty score  : as soon as a player has participated in 10 matches within the club, his individual collective score will be increased by one point.

The best training for the collective

Since it is possible, through your personal tactics, to play in a formation totally different from that of your base team, it is important to use formations that limit your links in order to improve your collective.

Thus, the best formations to increase the collective on FIFA 22 are generally:

• A basic 4-3-3 or a variation of 4-3-3
• A 4-2-2-2 if you have no player on the wings (allows you to link BU / CM in groups of 3)
• A 4-5-1 if your wingers and full backs have strong ties
