FIFA 22: So you change your club name in Ultimate Team

In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team you have the option to customize the name of your team. However, the option is pretty well hidden. You can find out how this works here.


If you are a FUT veteran and already had a club in Ultimate Team before FIFA 22, then FUT 22 will simply use the club name of your old team. But what if you don't like the name of your club anymore?


You can easily rename your club, but unfortunately option is not that easy to find. We'll show you step by step what you have to do to give your team a new name.


How to change the club name in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

How to change your club name: To rename your club, you have to switch to FIFA 22 on the console or PC. Unfortunately, this option is not offered for the web and companion app .


Have you started FIFA 22, then these are the next steps:


  1. You open Ultimate Team and go to "Goals".
  2. Then you switch to the “Basics” tab.
  3. You will then find the option “Club name” in the “Basics” tab.
  4. You call them up and enter a club name and the abbreviation of the club.
  5. Finally, you press “Confirm club name” to complete the process.

How often you can change the club name in FIFA 22 is not known. It used to be that this was only possible once per season. So make sure that your new club name does not contain any typing errors.
