How to add (import) your portrait to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous doesn't have too many portraits, and it's likely that you may not like one. Fortunately, the developers have added the ability to set your own portrait. In this guide, we'll show you how to do this.

If you have already prepared the necessary images, then just go to the very last paragraph, where we talk about how to import portraits. And at the very beginning, we will tell you how to prepare pictures for import yourself.

Where can you prepare pictures for portraits? Where can I find Paint?

Let's say you have already chosen a suitable picture. But the catch is that you need to make three images of a certain size out of it. Fortunately, you don't need special skills for this. Just open the well-known Paint, which can be found by typing its name into the system search engine near the "start".

How to open an image in Paint and crop it to create a portrait

Note : to see the full images in the guide, simply click on them to enlarge.

  1. Launching Paint, open the required image in the program. To do this, click on "File", and then on "Open".
  2. Next, find the folder where you store the downloaded portrait image. As an example, we took the mascot of our site - Viji. From her image, we will make three pictures with the following dimensions:

  • 692px by 1024px;
  • 330px by 432px;
  • 185px by 242px.

First of all, we advise you to reduce the image, or vice versa, increase it to 1024px vertically. To do this, click on the "Select" button located on the top panel. Then right-click on the image and click on "Resize". Next, in the "Vertical" field, change the size to 1024px, or you can even slightly larger to make it easier to crop the picture.

In our case, there was a problem - the horizontal size of the image turned out to be less than 692px. If this happened with you, then go to "Resize" again, and enlarge the picture horizontally to at least 694px, because you will have to crop the selection.

Now move the cursor over the picture somewhere closer to the corner, hold down the left mouse button and select the area of the image that you want to cut. Pay attention to the numbers below, there should be something close to 692x1024px.

Then click on the "crop" button. If the selection failed to perfectly crop the image, then you can click on "File" - "Properties". There, write a width of 692px and a height of 1024px. As a result, your image will be cropped almost imperceptibly, and you will get the desired dimensions for the portrait. Now click on "File" - "Save As" - "PNG Image".

Choose any convenient folder and name the picture Fulllength. We hope that you have already figured out how to edit the image, because in this way you need to make two more portraits. The next one is to crop to 330x432px.

We saved the second portrait under the name Medium. Now there is only the smallest face portrait, which needs to be cropped to fit 185x242px.

Save the last image as Small.

Can I get ready-made images (mods) for import somewhere?

Yes, there are already modifications for the game in the form of portrait sets. You can download them on the Nexus. For example, a set of 377 portraits for the game has already appeared. You just need to download the archive, extract images from it, select the pictures you like and import them into the game, which we discussed below.

But even if this abundance is not enough for you, you can download a similar archive, but already with a choice of 2000 portraits, which are in the mods section forPathfinder: Kingmaker . In this collection, the images are already adjusted to the desired size, so you just need to select the ones you like and import them into the game.
