HOW TO INSTALL PLAYER MODELS FOR CS: GO


 More and more various add-ons for the CS: GO game are coming out , player models are one of the popular categories of our site, and so that you don't have a question and you don't shit in my comments;) just below there is an article on how to install player models for CS: GO ... Read carefully and everything will work out, but if not, then excuse me, my hands are not from there:)


Installation will take place on the example of models - FBI SWAT for CS: GO

(!) Before installing, make a copy of the root folder of the game.


1) Unpack the folder with ATF materials into the local csgo folder.

2) In the csgo folder, make a backup copy of the pak01_dir.vpk file.

3) Open the pak01_dir.vpk file with Notepad ++ Download [5.5 MB], just DO NOT use the default program in Windows.

4) Search for the lines listed below (and only the lines listed below) and modify them according to the instructions. Strings are not case sensitive, so you don't have to worry about upper or lower case.

The list of substituted strings:

This: $ baseTexture "models / weapons / v_models / arms / ct_arms_fbi"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models / weapons / v_models / arms / ct_arms_fbb"


This is: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbi_head"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbb_head"


This is: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbi_head_variantA"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbb_head_variantA"


This is: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbi_head_variantB"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbb_head_variantB"


This is: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbi_lowerbody"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbb_lowerbody"


This is: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbi_upperbody"

Replace with: $ baseTexture "models \ player \ ct_fbi \ ct_fbb_upperbody"
